  1. Matt, I work past there. I could pick it up on my way to or from work for you and get it to you when I see you next.
  2. Every time I've been to the damn at alum at night there have been people there fishing, usually with lots of fish. I don't know fresh water fish enough and I didn't pay enough attention to know what they were though.
  3. Some people are just dumb. I'm no IT guru by any means, but if AT&T were getting a DDoS from that IP, isn't the only way to stop it to block that IP effectively blocking that site, even if the IP is being spoofed by the originator of the DDoS?
  4. because I was going to sit on the idea of buying it for a few days. Glad you could sell it so quickly though. I think you really spured the idea a lot more and I will go get my temps sometime this week!
  5. You can get HDMI cables for very cheap online (and they are decent cables). Not saying that it wouldn't be nice for this to have it, but it's not like you'd have to go spend $50 a BB for one. http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp http://www.bluejeanscable.com/ http://www.cablestogo.com/ I can't recomend blue jean's cables enough! http://www.bluejeanscable.com/legal/mcp/index.htm
  6. My biggest possible argument is in the word 'production' car. I would say by #'s made, sold and how it's designed and made, the Veyron definitely meets the criteria of what I would consider a production car. Whether you agree or disagree if the Aero is a production car or not, most people can agree that there could be an argument either way for that. Yeah, the Aero is probably faster than the Veyron. I've not looked into it enough to say what I think one way or the other. But everything says that it's faster, so it probably is. They Veyron is still way cooler in my book for so many other reasons.
  7. I ride a Giant Yukon (pretty 'normal' mountain bike), probably pretty equilivant to the Hardrock if I remember it correctly. I ride mostly up at Alum, though I've ridden down at the public BMX place a few times. A friend has a DJ bike, though not as 'slack' as the Specazliced P. that I've ridden. It's great for the dirt jump stuff. He's ridden it a few times at Alum when he's 'normal' mountain bike was down for repairs and was pretty miserable. It doesn't help that it's a single speed. I understand that you are used to the more sit down position of BMX bikes. Riding like that in a normal trail mountain bike situation (sitting and pedaling for long periods) makes you lean over and puts some pretty nasty angles on your knees. Greatly increasing the stress on your back, knees, and really your whole body. You won't ride as efficient, increase the likelihood of injury to your back or knees. I highly recommend sitting on some other bikes to see if you can find something you like. This is of course with the exception that if you will ride dirt jumps/bmx a majority of the time, then of course get the DJ bike. If you will ride trails more, or even 50/50, then I'd say go for the regular mountain bike. If you really get into it and are riding 50/50, you'll end up with both anyways.
  8. DJ bike will be perfect for bmx style places. It will be far less than ideal for mtb trails but should work. Same for a regular mtb bike but the other way around. Depends on what you will do more. I have a much bigger concern about you using a DJ bike on regular trails than I do with you using a regular mtb bike for bmx style places. On any "real" mtb trail you could possibly be very uncomfortable and even possibly cause injury due to the seating position on a DJ bike. But if you are goinig to dirt jump, bmx 90% of the time the DJ bike is probably right for you. Just want to make sure you get the right bike so you enjoy it and keep riding!
  9. So he's asking for three completely different bikes?
  10. You want a DJ (dirt jump) bike if you are looking at bikes like the Specalized P. That's not what's typically called an All Mountain bike. I've never heard anything called a Big MX bike? I'm not active on the local boards, but there are local mountain bike boards, might want to try there. http://joinomba.org/
  11. Old stuff of yours, because if so it will probably be just like his (too tall/long in the arms)?
  12. Haha, no. We've meet before so I knew how tall you are, I'm 5'9".
  13. Sucks. Like I sad in the chatbox, I've always had good service from that location. I'm sure you have for the most part too or you wouldn't have suggested for everyone to go there.
  14. Not a bad reason... although running in a light rain is the bee's knee's. I'm a fucking heater, I've ran in 20deg weather with shorts and a tshirt. I ski in the winter and don't really run or bike much if any in the winter, so that doesn't really concern me as much.
  15. Must... not ... spend .... money. I'm going to go out on a short very easy to stand on limb here and assume that jacket won't fit me.
  16. I almost hit those two at 71 & 270 (near Polaris) a few weeks ago, you could have just moved to the side of the highway. My parents have 5 acres outside of town and they see deer out there all of the time, it is pretty cool. My parents dog got a fawn a few months ago. She is slow, fat, old and has arthritis in one of her front legs. So yeah, it will probably happen. She just clipped it's back legs and it got up and ran off, it was fine.
  17. I'm not going to read any of the retarded post anyone else put about which one is better because running outside is fucking F-R-E-E and a lot less boring.
  18. Trying to get him to inseminate you? Should have fucking called me, I can do this... you just have to pay me in drinks. See, I will have to be sober for a few days to get rid of the DT's so I can solder something this small, so you will owe me a few drinks after.
  19. You actually read what he has to say when it's beyond 3 words? Triple? Edit: Fuck yeah!
  20. Really? You want to talk about the 'religious sanctity of marriage' to try to throw that idea back in his face? What a fucking joke that idea is in our society today. 50% EDIT: And Ken will have to come back and answer this one to be 100%, but IIRC from his thread he was married on a beach. So at the very least not in a church.
  21. I like to say that logically I'm an agnostic, but by faith (for lack of a better term in my head at this moment), I'm an atheist. I don't believe there is a god, I believe that there isn't one, but I can't prove that there isn't one. I'm using the word believe in this case as "I believe that my car is just outside where I parked it", not "I believe in the FSM." Eric, I hope you can see the satyr in what they did and you are just being facetious.
  22. Con: Doesn't Nitrousbird own one, and talk about how awesome it is every chance he gets?
  23. Saw the picture and thought it looked aerodynamic, .25cd. Pretty bad ass.... wow that thing has an ungodly amount of power. I will take this MB over the previous one posted... and it's electric... and has 525hp/649ft-lbs. http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/12/2009/07/504x_mercedes_sls_gullwing_jalopnik_02.jpg
  24. Seems like a pretty simple thing to have, especially at that level (don't know much beyond F1, but I'm just assuming that F2 is the feeder just bellow F1). This happened in an F1 race a few years ago. Can't remember the exact details. But something happened in the suspension that unbalanced things and cause the wheel/suspension to go into a oscillation mode and one of the (carbon fiber) suspension members to fail. The wheel came straight back and stopped what seemed like 1/4" from the drivers face because of the safety cable. Very unfortunate freak accident. Racing is dangerous, but you don't expect someone to get hurt at the very least die like that.
