  1. You my sir are fucking idiot. Did you see what I did there?
  2. Jesus what's up with all of the Evo's for sale on here lately? Anyways, GL with the sale.
  3. Wow rob, that's a hell of a find. You spend too much time on CL.
  4. It's CA, they don't have the same issues that we have that cause our potholes. And there are places around here that you could do 200+mph if you were really so inclined and had a car that could. Most of our highways aren't that bad actually. Only place on the highways I've noticed being very bad is around downtown in the winter. Not a whole lot you can do about that, snow/ice storms+salt+thawing+freezing+lots of traffic=pot holes.
  5. ... speeding ticket. http://jalopnik.com/5311819/bugatti-veyron-ticketed-in-california-going-210-mph%252B
  6. Was that supposed to be funny? Just some homophobe who took the list of stereotypes for car owners and added the words gay and butsex way too much.
  7. Werd, I will be there too, but just hanging out. Glad to see your running in one of the cars this time! :bangbang: There will be a ton of people down in that area, plenty of them current/former CR guys. Come say hi.
  8. If it were 2 months ago I would be at your house with cash now.
  9. Shoot me a PM if you are going to make it to Alum and I will try and meet you up there.
  10. Just a lowly Giant Yukon. Only modifications to speak of are 1x9 w/bash guard. I usually ride Alum. Would love to ride Mohican sometime, but from what I hear my out of shape ass might die on those hills. Ever make it down to Alum on the weekends? My riding buddies go to rays pretty often during the winter but I've never been able to make it yet due to my schedule (traveling for work and ski patrol).
  11. I don't even know who tri-tech is. Bike source is a bunch of fucking tards. Gave them one chance, like a lot of other shops, when I was buying my bike 2.5 years ago and never again. Bought my bike from Northland cyclery, always seem like some good guys whenever I go in there. Even if roll is/seems yuppie they've always been really cool and knoweldegable when I've stopped in. I will say I've never had any work done anywhere in Columbus as I do everything I can myself, but I wouldn't hesitate to take my bike to these or some other shops if there was something I wasn't able or willing to do myself. Do you mountain bike at all?
  12. I just ninja smacked a bug that was flying around in my face. There are some good shops in Columbus. So on a serious note, I am a real local biker, where do you work?
  13. I don't have that much experience, but from what little i have by the time the feeling is that obvious, the culprit for anyone who knows anything about car is fairly obvious too. I know this isn't always the case, but still worth jacking up in the air, taking the wheels off and looking at the bushings, joints, drive shafts (cv joints) and tie rods. Then if he can't see anything, take it in somewhere. From what I can tell he hasn't even tried to find the problem other than having the wheel's balanced (which I think should be the first step, by he needs to take the second one).
  14. Not sure what this thing should be classified as, but I would rock it. http://www.moto-scoot.net/sachs_madass_125.php
  15. I was thinking at the very least he should try to go through the front suspension himself and see if there is anything obvious.
  16. Let me guess, you work at bike source? You don't know that because you haven't worked there for 40 years, and I can also just about guarantee that hitch mounted bike racks haven't been around for that long either.
  17. While $200 is 'expensive', understand Berto is a biker. $200 is shit compared to what a nice bike cost and knowing it won't randomly fall off is some nice insurance. Also like I said in my original post, don't expect much for $40 from Walmart. It will be disposable, and possibly at a time you are driving down the road. I'm not bashing you by an means by trying to find a used one for a deal, but you will almost always get what you pay for, ESPECIALLY new. That's a relative large, stressed, and complicated item to expect very much except for failure for $40 (whether we are talking about a hitch mount or trunk mount).
  18. Like I said, the wheels are fucking sweet. They just don't look right on that particular car, which I didn't think that was possible.
  19. I guess you have to consider what you are carrying on it. Notice the post I had that said 'no good manufactures make a 4 bike rack in 1.25" ' and this is also on a mountain bike forum. You are carrying 2 (what look to be pretty nice, light) road bikes. I know at least one of those is yours and you have a nice road bike (relatively very light). Those weight nothing. If you are carrying 3 steel wally world 'comfort' bikes, you are talking about a lot more weight and wind resistance/down force. Just assuming on the # of people as he said he has a daughter in the back. Anyways, this is kind of a moot point for him unless he already has a hitch mount, like I originally said.
  20. NP, I'm pretty bored right now. If anyones interested in the other equipment you can find it on that site also, I'm not going to complete spoon feed you tards. BTW I just noticed how monstrous that sub is, that thing is a beast. GL with the sale.
  21. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_components.php?comp_id=121 http://mobile.jlaudio.com/pdfs/Slash_amps/1000_1_MAN.pdf
  22. Exactly my thoughts. Minivans are great for hauling shit, trips.
