  1. Makes sense if the guy has anything to do with rahal/letterman. We saw him on fishinger crossing the river. Weird that there's two of that car in red in town. Howard is that other one a 575 too?
  2. Old guy? Rahal letterman sticker on the back? Pretty sure me and mojoe saw that same car the other day but I don't know my ferarris at all. Looks like the same car from the back. Whoever we saw was driving slooowww.
  3. But they taste so much better out of the box than the soft pack!
  4. Yu better cdcked urself b4 yu wrdeckd urself <3 Jesse
  5. Well, if you're ok with the deal, so be it. Selling that quick in this market is phenomenal. Looked like a really nice house for the price, so not surprised you were able to sell it. Seems to me like people who can't sell their homes are pricing them above the current market, because they have to or they will lose money on it. If they were priced right, they would sell right?
  6. Did he get in front of you, pull his ebrake, lose control stopping perpendicular directly to your cars path causing you to have to lock up your brakes in order to not hit him?
  7. Yeah, that was me. Sorry I was busy proving my driving skills so I can deliver drugs for Campos. I don't have any pictures of my car because in the Vdub world we only have caricatures of our cars. In case you were wondering what that blue streak was, here is the out of proportion drawing of my car. http://www.corporatereplicas.com/files/blueVW.jpg
  8. I didn't say that. I said that I don't have one, because I'm not a 'pro' (even prosumer for cameras). Not that you need to be a pro to own one. Two different things and I stated the first, not the second. I figured it would be easy to imply from what I wrote, that what I described will work and do in a pinch, but a tripod is better if you are serious about it. But since it clearly wasn't, there it is.
  9. I'm no pro, I don't have a tripod, but you need to keep the camera stable somehow at night. If you don't have a tripod, in lots of urban settings you can find some place to put the camera on something. For example I think behind COSI there are concrete 'pillars' to keep you from being able to drive up into the back of the steps. They are about 3 feet high or so. Should be able to find lots of stuff like this around town.
  10. Next to the arena grand by the sign. In front of the arch in the arena district. Behind COSI is a good skyline shot.
  11. Great to hear about the job! Now just make a plan/budget to get out of that debt.
  12. Like someone else said, that's not a lot of debt. Don't even think about trying to get out of them and adding to our society's financial issues. To reiterate, call your debtors. Generally speaking they would rather work with you so you can pay them than send you to collections, see you go bankrupt. That gets them 0 money. Shred your cards so you don't use them anymore. When you pay them off cancel them. Or shred all but one and keep one for only emergencies. One creative thing I've seen is to freeze it in a block of ice so you won't just use it for whatever, only for real emergencies because it's a very conscious decision to thaw it out of that ice. Though if you really need to do that to control your spending, just shred it. Long term I want to really emphasis this. You can make any amount of money in the world and live paycheck to paycheck. The only way to get ahead financially is to live below your means. I make decent money, but I never had any left over at the end of the month. I wasn't saving anything. But I was doing OK financially, 'only' had a car payment and student loans for debt, no CC's or anything like that. But like V8Klr said, that only puts you a few paychecks away from serious financial issues. That's what you've found yourself in. I want you to take this as a time to get your house in order, and not just 'short' term paying of your CC debt, but how do you not have this happen again long term and be more comfortable. You can make any reasonable amount of money and not worry about money with the right plan and mindset. After you pay off those cards you need to think about what it was like being underwater so you plan to never get back there again. Make more than what you spend, and save whatever is left. Automatically have money going to savings so you don't touch it. Even if it's 50 or 100 a month. After not too long you have a few grand to fall back on if an emergency comes up, or you lose your job. I should reword that, spend less than what you make. Yes, it's easy to say 'go make more money' and that should be a goal, but in many cases it's actually easier to just spend less. Get into an apt that cost less, don't use cable or spend less on cable. Reduce your cell plan, or cancel it and get a home phone. The big one for me was finishing my car payment and not getting into another one. Don't eat out, don't go out partying. Make a budget for everything so you know where you money is going or you'll have no path to be able to do any of this. Make a plan for paying down you CC debt, now. Even if you're not making any money now, you can start that plan the day you get your first paycheck when you get another job. Start reading http://www.consumerist.com search around there about paying down CC debt, there are some good post.
  13. That might make pro ball worth watching, never thought about that. Might have to start DVRing the Eagles games and watching the plays he's in. Other pro's that are big animal/dog people are going to be gunning for him.
  14. I think that would be fair, but it was decided by our justice system the time he was to serve for his crimes. He served it, did his time, now he's out. If someone wants to hire him, whatever that's for, so be it. Same thing can happen with Clarette once he gets out. But who would hire him for what job? I've had friends who've committed felonies, been caught, did their time, and now are (very) productive members of society. You would have no idea they were 'criminals' from just meeting them. I agree about Daunte, 30 days for killing someone. That's bullshit. To that effect, without some very good lawyers I think Vick would have been away for a lot longer. What he did was basically organized crime, disregarding the dog fighting issue. Proves you can buy your way out of most trouble. If anyone doesn't like that, don't take issue with these particular cases, take issue with how our justice system is set up.
  15. Did Howard trick you into sleeping with him because he told you he was in a band?
  16. Lol, he must have thought that was a lifetime earnings number. WTF does that even mean? Mountain motor?
  17. http://www.sugarsays.com/.a/6a00e54ff18131883401053497806b970b-800wi Joe, I wouldn't say I've ever seen it look as good as a good SD signal, even at full res and their 'HD'. But I've never seen what you say. I've seen it look compressed in the resolution, but never choppy. I've only ever streamed via 360 so I can't say about what it looks like compared to PC streaming. Suposedly you can't get their 'hd' at full bore until around 6-8mbps if that tells you anything. DVD video bit rate, IIRC max's out at 12 or 15mbps, with the average probably being well below 10mbps (around 8). Audio for DVD is shit small, like .5mbps max, so the 2 channel stream for netflix is nothing. Do you still work for WOW? I'm having some issues and thought you might be able to steer me in the right direction.
  18. It's the compact version of the seating arangment in the McLaren F1!
  19. You could basically do the same thing you would do for a pressure test in your car, but do it on just the intercooler. Just cap off one end with a pressure gauge, the cap off the other with a fitting for a an air hose (to connect to a compressor). Pressurize it, turn off the air, and see if it leaks down.
  20. Carl. We can easily make a pressure tester for it to see if it leaks at all and how bad it is. If you want to try it yourself. Obviously if it's leaking that's best left to the pros to try and fix, but if it's not leaking I would say straighten out the fins a little and put it back in the car.
  21. WTF do you need an interior for?
  22. Going to keep it now? I've got this sweet sports car, we could figure out some kind of trade. Pontiac Sunfire, too much power for you probably though.
