  1. And you can see when fuse is blown. Pull one out and look at it from the side. In a good one you will see a piece of metal, usually in an s shape. In a bad one you will see the same thing but the metal will be 'broken' and there will usually be some black stuff in there. Just like it 'blew up.' A lot of times you can take the plastic cover off that covers up the fuses. And there will be a map like gearhead posted with names or often very shortened names of what they power. Like cig lghtr or something like that.
  2. Damn, glad you noticed it before you started it. I'm guessing the issues of doing that could range from nothing to something that makes grown men cry.
  3. I was going to say few year old COPed A4 2.0T S-Line. I assume that will easily come in your price range, but don't really know what they go for. Anyways, add another vote to the A4. The are supposed to get phenomenal mileage for the power/size of the car too.
  4. Lol, no. That's at Butter Milk (one of the Aspen mountains) where they've done Winter X Games for quite a few years.
  5. All this talk of pp's and dingy's and here I thought we were talking about a car... I'm so confused.
  6. Do they age that beer in barrels? I bet the girly coconut rum is Howards.
  7. Yeah, the snow mobile double back flip was pretty sick. I came back to the table at the restaruant we were at and had a shoot of scotch sitting there for me, and I hate scotch. I did it as soon as that guy landed the back flip. You almost have to take a shot for that one. Ken Block's thing is cool but he's done way cooler stuff although not on snow, his record 171 foot jump comes to mind. I will give way more credit to someone doing something like that without a machine than with. It doesn't make the double back flip or jumping over ski jumps in a rally car any less impressive, but it's apples to oranges if you ask me.
  8. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.
  9. Never been there, I will check it out soon.
  10. The have an ok selection, as does Whole Food's. If you want a good beer selection you can buy and take back home go to Anderson's. There are some other random palces around town where you can get some stuff. There's probably stuff at Winking Lizards that you can't get anywhere else around town, and definitely not all in the same place. Just simply by the sheer number of different beers they have.
  11. He was talking about assaulting someone for doing nothing to him. Just trying to tell him that it was a bad idea to follow through with that.
  12. You are the one talking about macing people for doing something extremely inconsequential to you . Singling out a specific group of people, sounds kind of like racism right? Go read what I said, I was talking about you talking about macing people. I was talking about you grouping people together and equating it to racism. And how could you do that being black and I'm sure having been on the short end of that stick before. I hope you haven't, and if you haven't you are the luckiest minority alive. I've had to get in between people about to fight before, dealt with the aftermath, so I read something like this and don't assume anything.
  13. Both great places. My parents used to live <5 minutes from the Barley's in Grandview so we would go eat there pretty often. Got my MBA from the Elevator. Both (all three really) places have different styles of great food too. CBC is good to get a six pack of beer from the store. Never been there though.
  14. Werd, surprised we haven't hung out since you and Howard decided to make the relationship official by moving in together. When I get back in town fo sho.
  15. Never been to the pub, where's it at? It kind of helps that I can walk to the Winking Lizard on Bethel.
  16. I don't know about that. The members only/varsity jacket that I've seen is pretty mullet sweet, just not Kentucky waterfall 80's trans am sweet like a vest would be.
  17. They keep track of them on their computers and can drink any of the beers at any of the stores. You just have to drink your last one at your home store (where you originally signed up) to get your jacket. Not sure why that's a rule, but it is. You can even go online this year and check your progress.
  18. A vest is even more 80's mullet sweet than I could have possibly hoped.
  19. Exactly, they say over 150 and you still 'only' have to drink 100 of them. They still have something like 90 bottles that are there all of the time. Then the drafts are mostly seasonal, like they always have been. It's just that they count towards the tour now. Sounds pretty lame about the party, I'll pass on that. I just want to drink the beers and get the members only jacket.
  20. Crazy, didn't see that. Not that interested in the party, just the beer drinking. I think they've chnaged the rules for the better this year. Really the only thing they added was that draft's count. So instead of doing 100 out of 100, you do 100 out of 150. You'll still drink lots of different beers/types you would have never other wise drank. Though I don't blame you for not wanting to do it a second year in a row. Mike, you know you can always crash if you need to... but I don't think every night would work out.
