  1. I really like Donnie Darko and the Butterfly Effect, but Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind is a worthless pile of crap. It ranks right up there with Being John Malkovich for me. The difference bettwen Donnie Darko & the Butterfly Effect, and Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind & Being John Malkovich is this. Art for the sake of art is worthless, it just ends up being pretentious and overbearing. True art just happens when someone is trying to express an idea through a medium to others. True art is thought provoking because it envelopes an idea (or lack thereof) naturally, it's not trying to press an ideology onto someone. Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind & Being John Malkovich are like the kids who smoke to try and look cool and Donnie Darko & the Butterfly Effect are like the cool kids who make smoking look cool and beat up the kids who smoke to look cool.
  2. I've got a giant lizard, I'm not sure that enclosure can hold it though, can I test it out a little first?
  3. Uhh, you seriously couldn't find your own old post? I guess I'll be nice and just assume you are a lot better with a wrench than you are with a keyboard. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22892 What he actually said was "If you need help with getting it boosted, let me know!!" Which means, if you want them to turbo it or to buy some kit off of them, come to him. They run a business, while I'm sure they might be nice guys and might be willing to help you out a little, I don't think they are going to write and give you an "Idiots Guide To Honda Engine Swaps" for free either. It seems like your going to want the later from them. Ok, I lied about the being nice and assuming part right after I went to their website and the first thing I saw on the top right was their (Slow Motions) phone number.
  4. Seriously go look at that page, someone took a lot of time to try to make them look authentic and did a pretty good job at it. If I or you didn't know about this, we might not catch them, and we aren't just some idiot ricers.
  5. I've had alcohol on the brain all day, too bad I'm only speaking figuratively.
  6. What, ~$40. That's only $20 a piece if we go back at the same time. Pull a Kevin and sleep in your car.
  7. What's the range on the torque wrench? Or do you have the model # handy? I could just check out all of the specs on Snap-On's website.
  8. You coming Scott? $1 rum and cokes for two hours=me on the floor
  9. Uhh, it's an 05, isn't it still under warranty?
  10. I can't believe I didn't catch that show once last season be accident. I've just happened to watch both episodes so far this season, and it's absolutely hilarious. I think I'll be making it a point to watch it if I'm not busy from now on. IMHO a decent amount of the show yesterday was actually funnier than that skit.
  11. Some of those are funny, but this one applies so well to here.
  12. Ben's a moran, it's ok. I can assure you it's this Friday and we aren't taking you back in our time machine to last year. Map It's right in the "Arena District" very near Spice, Sugar, Gas Werks, Brothers, and right next door to The Blues Station. If you have ever been to one of those before. Eric, you can carry your own damn self out because I think you’re the only one who could physically do it! You and Jen better come out! Hey Ben, I was just checking out the Lodge Bar's website. They are having the same cover band as the last time we were there.
  13. That's pretty bad ass. I hope she knows how to drive it!
  14. Eww no... oh, you meant what you were selling. I might if I had an E36 BMW, but I don't, so no. Good luck selling them though! :woowoo:
  15. It's 2:02PM on Wednesday the 29th of March 2006 and Michigan still sucks! :nutkick:
  16. I can ctrl+alt+delet with my one penor and not even have to use any hands. On a slight related note, I got my first ever BSOD that I thought was 100% legit and I knew exactly what caused it (not just some BS of a program locking up). I accidentally pulled out a PCMCIA card that was communicating from an external device to a program at the time. The computer didn't like that too much, instant crash.
  17. It's not about what's reasonable or what should or will happen. It's about what the laws and courts could allow them (the law enforcers) to do that violates peoples rights. Just because a law or a system is in place that won't be applied because it's unreasonable, doesn't mean it's ok. I'm sure many people will unreasonable get arrested for this because some cop is a bad cop, having a bad day, thinks something is happening that is not. Frankly, what the fuck is a bar for if you can't get drunk in it if you aren't causing a problem. I bet really soon we will see a really rich person get arrested and get really pissed off about this, and it will go to a much higher court down there. Also, law ARE NOT to protect people from themselves, or at least they shouldn't be in a free country. They should be to protect people from other people. Two of the three reasons they cited getting too drunk is bad "People walk out into traffic and get run over, people jump off of balconies trying to reach a swimming pool and miss." GOOD, the idiots killed themselves, natural selection.
  18. Joe, lets talk. If you had come out on Sunday night, we could have talked about this then.
  19. bigb... it takes a lot for me to say this, but I think I need Jesus in my life, can you help me to see the light?
  20. I was hoping the article would be that he committed suicide and left a note saying how sorry he was for not being funny ever.
