You've obviously never taken any class that is even remotely hard. When you're in classes past College Algebra and English 1 let me know. Or have you ever even stepped foot into anything that could even be considered a college? I sometimes wonder if you even graduated high school honestly.

Go back to your school 4 years later and see if the teacher even knows your face. I know I could e-mail one of my professors 10 years from now, with no contact between now and then, and they would remember me instantaneously. I had the home numbers of 3 out of 4 of the teachers that I took 90% of my last two years of college with, I could call them at any reasonable hour and ask them anything about school. Hell, I could ask a few of them personal questions if need be. I refuse to believe that anyone at a school that has 40K people could ever get that sort of attention. I also know that our facilities, for an undergrad degree, were superior to big schools in many ways, despite us being so small (if you really want me to give examples in my programs and others I can). We didn't have the fourth teachers home number because he was a fat cunt-rag that shouldn't have been teaching there. Now I'm not saying this is always true with small schools compared to big schools, but this is why I visited all of the colleges I applied to and looked at all of their facilities. The only classes we had TA's in were physics labs and some programming labs. When we did have them, they were in addition to a professor being there full time. That is of course unless I was teaching the lab, I just took them over and the teacher let me do my thing. smile.gif

  9. I would say from the damage on the truck that it was somehow involved with the wreck with the car in the intersection and got spun into the C6 as the C6 was sitting at the light. It looks like the person who owns the C6 was just an innocent by-standard, unfortunate situation. Also agree with copperhead, no way that thing is totaled. Also, although this is unfortunate, with there being no obvious structural damage, the car should be able to be fixed to as good as new.
  10. Bury that guy in your basement. I'm not sure about the code thing, they can be odd sometimes, especially with old stuff that they no longer allow but was originally allowed. Like there might be a clause, which allows you to replace part of it to fix it because of the cost of replacing all of the pipes. Commonly if something is worked on in a system, the whole system has to be up to code when it's inspected. I'm sure they are exceptions to this depending on what city you are in though. I'd find the number for the city inspections office and call them. Columbus probably has a separate department for plumbing and the like, call them and ask them about it if you are really worried. I wouldn't worry about that guy though.
  11. He must have ripped a tire off of a rental again.
  12. Yup, thanks for catching that. I seem to have been bad about proof reading everything lately, been letting alot of stuff like that slip.
  13. I've used the vacuum to do a 'base' diagnosis as much as I've used the boost side of the gauge in my Talon to set the boost. A boost gauge with a vacuum portion is half worthless, but it's still pretty cool.
  14. Not sure, try Byerly’s in Grandview on 5th or Pet Land out in the strip mall in front of Lincoln Village (there are other ones). That's where I used to get mine from when I had a tank. Also had friends who used to shop at Aquarium Adventure off of 161 near Sawmill. Been there a few times, never bought, but would possibly buy if I got another setup. I think Jack’s will buy too, but fuck that place. Those are the three places I would/wouldn't try if I were trying to sell fish.
  15. 'Good' brakes don't even begin to describe what you would need at thoes evelations if you were trying push your car on that road.

Actually I only needed to replace one tie rod end and pads and rotors. It's called making the car better; I'm putting poly graphite bushings all around. Thanks for playing though. I never said I was 'someone' for 'needing' (or being able to do all on my lonesome) 'some' (this is a shit ton of work) suspension work. You said I was a 'lAm3r' OMFG!!!11!!onze my crew is da shizzel, for buying nice/fast stuff and not being able to fix it up on my own. I said, your 'boy' isn't special for putting rims and taillights on a car. You say I don't know how to do anything so here's what I'm doing. You also said my parents bought my car and I also proved you wrong there. Please come back when you have a logical response that is intelligible. You must be from Coshocton? [ 14. 18. You’re an idiot. Let’s go over the short list of events that lead up to this. 1) You say don't mention Honda or Toyota and racing in the same sentence. 2) I offer irrefutable evidence of Honda and Toyota racing real cars in real series currently (with a history I might add). 3) You say something about an SBC making some kinds of records yet I never said anything about not saying Chevy and racing in the same sentence. Problems with your arguing structure. A) You didn't offer any counter point to my argument that was debasing your original point. B) You tried to counter with an irrelevant point to the conversation. You obviously don't know your ass from a hole in the ground so I don't know why I think you would be able to form a coherent argument, but I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. I'm sorry I did that.
  19. Why don't you go beyond the last 6 years for Toyota, they had some fast cars? I'd sit here and try to explain things to you but your an idiot so there's no point. There's also a 4 banger that's about 20 years old that they are still using in real racing that's a Toyota engine. Get a fucking clue. Ok, I can't help myself. Go and type into a search engine. BAR/Honda and F1 racing Toyota Atlantic Supra Have a nice day ass hat. [ 13. September 2004, 04:35 PM: Message edited by: Neo ]
  20. I offered you constructive criticisms, nothing more and nothing less. Just my take on the situation as I said earlier. Super low profile TIRES are not sweet on any car anyone drives on an every day basis. They will make the cars suspension VERY stiff, not fun for driving down the street to work and back. I just personally don't like FWD cars for a platform to make a fast car or I'd probably own or have owned a hatch just like Ricochet's. He's a very good knowledge base for things like this (I'm sure he can tell you about the cost effectiveness of making his car fast on a first hand basis). That's the last time you will get a constructive, nice, reply from me if you continue to reply like a douche bag. Your car looks better than mine.... if you say so. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid58/pbc4eb3c20c78fab9f4460bbe3467428f/fc6300f2.jpg This isn't my other car, don't have any pictures yet, but this is exactly what it looks like. http://www.autoseekandsell.com/userimages/IMG_0767.jpg
  21. And that's why there are options for dealer, private, or trade in on every place you can get 'book' prices on cars. The dealer is always the most expensive option. Him saying 'KILLER' deals was probably a bit of an exaggeration, but they are probably cheaper than their list, or any starting price at any dealership. Plus he IS a salesperson pushing a sale, expect to get the sugar coated story.
  22. Agreed with everything douggunracing said. Keep it as a daily and put stock rims back on it. It can't ride nice with tires that have that low of a profile. Get something that's cheap and not so new to modify. Something that has some potential and lots of other people have modified, which will likely be something that parts are inexpensive (relatively speaking) for and there is a large knowledge base for. That’s just my quick take on things. Also, not trying to bash, it's just that a 2003 Civic EX is not a good platform to start out with. I also don't think modifying newer cars is always the best idea in the world. That car would make a perfect daily driver.
