  1. Was the guy driving Sir Lankan? tongue.gif Btw, welcome. Sounds like a cool car, got any pics?
  2. If there's one thing I've learned in life it's to not chug 151 until you already really drunk. I'm going as Hackmed (sp?) from Team America: World Police. graemlins/grin2.gif I'll be down at OU on Saturday too.
  3. Maybe he has enough depth and caring as a human being to realize that when voting for anything it's not what's best for him, but what's best for that greater good. Not saying that is necessarily the case, just what popped into my head when I saw that. If you are saying "I'm voting for Bush because I want my taxes lowered" hang yourself. Pepole are generally dumb and uninformed regardless of their age group.
  4. From someone who's indifferent in the situation, as I've never met anyone in this thread except for Amy once, I have to agree with this statement. Sorry to hear about what happened Amy, that's pretty shitty.
  5. There was a huge fuss within the last few months on Audi World about spec clutches failing. They were bad enough that spec was replacing the clutches free of charge, and people would not put them in their cars. They were ponying up for something else, despite the free, new, clutch. Keep in mind that replacing a clutch on the S4 is a very involved job. If you are using this as an excuse to go auto, that's fine. Just letting you know your problem very well could be from a poorly designed/manufactured clutch and something that you might want to look into.
  6. I said 'along with car related topics.' You flamed the guy for posting a gun related topic on a car board when this person is obviously an automotive enthusiast and has posted numerous topics of his own, and replied to others car related topics. Sounds alot like what you or I generally post.
  7. Oh no, I see another battle of the wits for the ages to remember coming on. graemlins/wtf.gif It's really too bad sarcasm doesn't come across any better on web forums.
  8. WTF? A guy comes on here asking about handgun shooting techniques at shooting ranges in the Parking Lot and he gets reamed. People post about off topic stuff on this site all of the time, sports, computers, politics. The guy comes in here and ask about legally shooting a handgun in a controlled, safe environment, and you guys bash him putting him in the same stereotype as people who use guns to harm others. Lets see who's doing this. One dumb fuck that thinks it's a great idea to twin turbocharge a car that, despite being a 'v' engine, has all of the exhaust ports on one side of the engine. Another one who, within their last 50 post has talked about; The Yankees, the SWK, Buckeye Football, plastic surgery, Desperado trying to flame IwishIwascool, and a strip club along with cars. Get off of your pseudo pedestals, it's not becoming of you.
  9. Only one thing you didn't find Ken, why was he ever that close to the ground/why did he start the maneuver too low? It's actually pretty interesting and I didn't know anything about the reason why until the photography buff here told me the story about the picture. You can either base your altitude off of sea level, or above ground level. Above sea level is obviously going to be a standard no matter where you are. Above ground level on the other hand obviously needs to be adjusted for where you are. I believe the story goes that guy was practicing at a different location the day before that air show and was using the above ground level base for altitude. Problem was the place he practiced at was lower (closer to sea level) than the place where the air show was. He never corrected the next day at the air show, so what he though was ground level was somewhere below the actual ground. IIRC, because of that incident all of the stunt teams now use sea level as a standard and just have to know how far above sea level the ground is. He ejected during the last thousandths of a second before the plane hit the ground.
  10. A guy at work has this picture that he printed of in 8x10. It won a 'Damn I can't believe you got that picture' contest on some photo website he's on. Needless to say, I already know exactly what happened. The guy who took that said he accidentally got that picture didn't even know he got that when he took it and wasn't trying to. He thought he was just taking a picture of the plane, but by the time he snapped, and the shutter closed and opened back up, that's what he saw. The photographer of that picture was on scaffolding and that wreckage stopped just short of the scaffolding.
  11. I'm glad to see that you had anything even remotely useful to say.
  12. Not sure, but I'd do it both ways just to check and see. I'm sure there are more variables that go into it that could possible make it advantageous to file separately or jointly. I would imagine one of the biggest variables being how big of a discrepancy there is in the amount you make. I would want to think if you made X dollars, and she made nothing or next to nothing, or vice-versa, it would be advantageous to file jointly. But I would imagine that, as the two peoples yearly earnings get closer to one another that advantage would become smaller, until it makes more sense to file separately. So your saying even if you file separately and your married, if you itemize, she also has to? Or do you file jointly so you both have to itemize if one of you does?
  13. Yeah, no offense Terron, but I saw that and thought 'He must have seriously thought for a long time about what he could do that was nerdier than a LAN party, and a DDR tournament is what he came up with'
  14. I wana go test drive one of those, so sexy looking. graemlins/leghump.gif

  16. I just want to say, officially on the record, you are a bastard. tongue.gif <~ this guy can’t wait for it to snow. I've skied for 8 years and have boarded twice. I bought a board because someone on here had a good deal and I get really bored at MRM sometimes, especially when I'm there with nobs. We should all get passes this year and make sure we have a few CR trips out there this year.
  17. You obviously aren't getting ANY (decent) college education right now, free or otherwise. graemlins/grin2.gif I wish I could make people like you black (or some other minority) all of the sudden and see how much your outlook changed. Kind of like the Dave Chappell skit in his very first show. That would be a fun experiment.
  18. I wasn't talking about the basis of any of any of his points, he is right to some extent with all of them. Just a few things he said which are VERY dumb ihmo. The three points he made do have a basis of truth in them. This is ignorant. This person obviously has a hate towards black people because of an isolated incident in their life and possible because of what this person has seen in general in their life. BUT I have a huge problem with this person saying that this means that black people in general are somehow less than them. I think that his point is clearly made when he says people in the 1800's 'earned' their way and that black people didn't because one stabbed his grandfather’s friend. I can be empathetic to that situation and say that I am very sorry that this happened, it should not have happened, and that person should be punished to the full extent of the law. Please tell me you realize how unfounded this is as a basis to say that black people in general are a lesser class? Even if that’s what you’ve seen in general in life, does that mean you should assume that every black person you meet is going to be a lesser person? The answer to me is obviously not, but I guess when people want to think they are somehow better than others because of an inferiority complex they will find whatever they can to justify this. Someone dressing nicer or not so nice has nothing to do with their race. Also, even if you can directly correlate how someone dresses to social status (which you really can't), it has NOTHING to do with what type of person they are. I take everyone as they come to me and treat them like a new person. It really saddens me to see you post things like 'Everyone has cultural and racial biases their based on life experiences and cannot be changed.' Even if you aren't racist, I feel that admitting and perpetuating ideas like this only lead to racism sustaining itself. Maybe it’s just that you are racist too and that’s why you agree with their viewpoints. The world doesn't have to be like this but it is. It doesn't have to stay this way but people who have outlooks like yours and Sweet8Tooths will make it stay that way.
  19. graemlins/thatfunny.gif What a dumb ass. Please don't reply to this, you REALLY don't want me to pick you apart.
  20. Yes it is a 92. Here are the few pics I have with my parent’s new camera recently up on jack stands. Hasn't been cleaned in VERY long time. Image Station is being dumb. You'll have to right click, copy the links, and open a new window if you want to view the original image, which are larger. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid139/pebd0616aecf426c28e640b783467ea31/f70947a1.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid139/p5e38f229f8130712189d5f9a4e6c5ad8/f7094804.jpg Also a few with the old shitty camera after the first good cleaning and waxing after I bought it. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid58/p618c6b2e1f0ef28218d24ff8ac5b5f5b/fc62fe2c.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid58/pbc4eb3c20c78fab9f4460bbe3467428f/fc6300f2.jpg An old sig, I wish I still had that original photo, I thought I did but couldn’t' find it. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid25/pcf9f86463867114da30aca01316a7982/fd8a1771.jpg
  21. When are you going to graduate to Natty Ice? graemlins/nod.gif Best thing about Natty is that, if anyone around you carries bottles, it cost the same amount in bottles as it does in cans! graemlins/thumb.gif
  22. I guess I miss it a little but it probably won't sink in until later in the season. I usually don't watch much hockey on TV, but for quite a while now me, my dad and brother have been going to some hockey game every year. We used to go to Chill games and now we go to Blue Jackets games. I've gotten to at least one Jackets game every year, usually two or three a year. We have actually talked about what we are going to do this year. We will probably end up going to an OSU hockey game, but I'm not sure that it will be the same. I'm sure it will set in when we go to the game or around Christmas, my mom would usually get us the tickets for Christmas.

Do it right, do it once. Or if you do have to go back in and do anything it will be ALOT easier to do. Originally posted by B DUBS: How long has it been since that talon cruised the roads? It last ran on a regular basis over a year ago, but hasn’t since mostly due to my laziness. That's when it started having trany problems. By deduction figured out it was the TCU, most likely leaky electrolytic caps. It in fact was and I replaced them but the problems continued. Replaced the ATF and filter, didn't fix it. Got a new (used) TCU and the exact same cap had leaked. Took the out of both boards and checked the continuity on some of the traces and my original board had been damaged by the leaky cap, but the new one was ok. Once I got that running it ran for right around two weeks and 1kmi. and slowly developed what seems to be an ignition miss that I don’t know for the life of me what the problem could be. Haven’t trouble shot, but just from the way it’s acting, I have no fn’ clue. Since it had been sitting while I was getting the trany figured out I replaced the wires and plugs. It’s sat for about a year since then because I got the S4 around then and just have been lazy. It actually moved from the side of the house to where it sits now under it’s own power just a few months ago, so I guess technically it does run. graemlins/lol.gif P.S. UBB sucks donkey balls. [ 20. 24. That’s a sweet looking car. I really like that color and it looks fairly clean, especially for a car that old. Congrats. graemlins/thumb.gif
