Any interest in a 2-18 mid afternoon Triple Nickel run?
Trouble Maker replied to Cordell's topic in Events
Just about 10 minutes brauh. Really, probably not even that long unless you get stuck at every light. http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Unknown+road&daddr=300+West+Broad+Street,+Columbus,+OH+43215+(Franklin+County+Veterans+Memorial)&hl=en&ll=39.977646,-83.008575&spn=0.061825,0.247192&sll=39.996191,-83.025994&sspn=0.000966,0.003862&geocode=FVhKYgIdHh4N-w%3BFcnFYQIdAWQN-yHhTyGkqmnxAg&mra=dme&mrsp=0&sz=18&t=m&z=12 -
I heard his face spontaneously melted off. They are doing the first face swap. Rush Limbaugh actually died last month. What you've seen/heard lately is a cyborg clone. They've been preserving his body for just such a worth purpose. Colbert will assume the role of Rush and they will make a cyborg clone of Colbert so no one knows. With the smarts of Colbert and the rabid fan base of Rush, there will be no stopping him. Within 6 months everyone in the US will be on the religious right and their houses will be made of gold bricks. Now that everyone is finally not bickering over such nonsense as contraception the US will once again be an unstoppable economic force. Our GDP will be growing at a 100% yearly increase rate. We will become a next exporter of valuable commodities like hipster glasses and electric tri-cycles. Rush will be credited for the turn around and be voted as our POTUS forever. Colbert (as Rush) will finally be in office as it's always been predicted.

It's been a while since I've had a near life expierence. I think I'm getting soft in my old age.

It's really a shame it's not nice out for those who are agoraphobic, they have a nice patio area.

Really... so I can drive a tractor & trailer around with just a regular license as long as it's not for commercial purposes? :dumb: I've always wondered if all of these old people crossing the country one Wal-Mart parking lot at a time in their 50klb 40ft long monstrosities need any kind of special license or not. -
I can't exactly tell from this 4 pixel picture, but OMG IS THAT A SWEET PORNSTACHE? :fa:

Gabe, in almost the same boat as you. I should be around 170, was around there a few years ago when I was eating good and exercising on a regular basis. But I had eaten like shit and not exercised as much as I should. I was up to a ridiculousness ~195 last summer and started dieting and exercising a little more. I was down to ~180 before winter. Between holidays and eating like shit while traveling for work I'm around 185 now. My goal is to eat better and exercise regularly. I'm more concerned about being healthy than necessarily what I weigh. Whatever that makes me weigh, is what it makes me weigh. But, if i had to put a number on it, I think I should eventually be ~170 again.

Cool, you just seemed young and I wasn't sure. Didn't want you to come all of the way out and not be able to get in.
-
Are you allowed in bars... are you 21?
-
Paying me $3 to go, I'm in!

How come? All of the cool kids are going to be there. :fa: I was already planning on going to Howards gig. I'm 90% on going to Akai Hana too. Love that place! I live close by to where Howard's band is playing, so if anyone feels they had one too many, I have a spare bed and a few couches for people to crash on.

Johnny, that last one is a camoed car. The original story that Berto's pic came from. http://www.worldcarfans.com/111050433123/2012-audi-s5-sportback-facelift-spied/lowphotos

Not sure if serious? If serious, that's a prototype car that someone got a 'spy shot' of. And the spy photogs are usually 'nice' enough to usually blur out license plates and peoples faces. The car companies usually put some kind of 'camo' on the cars to hide the body lines.

General fitness goals, which include mountain biking. Where I say combined I was thinking bike + run, but we will throw hiking in there too since it's human powered and I hope it will suck up some time this summer. 1000mi combined for the season 100mi in 1 week combined Bike 4 consecutive laps at Alum Bike 1 lap at Mohican Run 1 lap at Alum Nothing too lofty, but it will mean I need to actually exercise 3-4 days a week for the whole season, and that's the point, to keep me motivated. I'm also doing a 'tri' in June, which I did last June. Canoe 3.5 mi, run 5 mi, bike 17mi. I hurt my foot at the beginning of last season, I think I completely pull/tore something in it. I couldn't run longer than ~1 mi for probably 2 months. I could finally start increasing my distance a few weeks before the tri, but I barely got up to running 4mi by the time the tri came around. So I finished but it was rough. I think my overall time was just under 3 hours. If I can train well this year I'm hoping to do it under 2:30. That's doing the canoe in the same amount of time as last year, running 9 min miles and doing the bike in 1 hour. Easily doable.

I'll give another +1 for Pilot, in case they are an option for you or anyone else in the future. Always extremely professional. The 1 car that I was involved with that they damaged in all of the years of working with them, they took care of the situation 100% the correct way. Accidents happen, it's how the company takes care of the situation that makes a stand out company versus a mediocre one. Pilot is an outstanding company to deal with. The damage was very minor body damage, so nothing that was a huge issue to begin with. I get not wanting to wait that long, but I don't have any expierence with the other companies.

We are buying a house this year, likely in Clintonville, so even better that they are located there.

There are some other gems in there. Brags the whole time, but says he's not a braggart (word's not be in popular use since 1960). He also uses other obscure words which he probably found by using the MS Word thesaurus. He's also 'terrifying' while doing basic office task like using a 3-hole punch. -
This is exactly what I was looking for in a locally owned, small business, camera oriented shop. I will be stopping by there sometime soon.
-
We still haven't gotten a chance to go riding together. Let's make it happen in the spring!
-
I HATE when shops do this. But it is what it is and sounds like everyone is suggesting them so I will take a look there. Thanks everyone! :megusta:

I'm 99% on the Olympus PEN E-PM1.

Well, I think I've found which camera I want, and I'm not seeing great deals online so I'm considering buying locally. Rather than just get it from some electronics shop, I thought it might be worth it to get it from a camera shop. Any suggestions, I like to shop locally (owned) when I can?

Glad to hear you are getting back into it. There are a few others who didn't post that are into mountain biking too. We did a few group rides last year, I'm sure there will be more this year and in the past they've been posted up in the Meetings section and open to all.
