  1. I have a 2004 Tony Kart Venox TaG for sale. See my thread in the for sale section. It comes with a lot of stuff, is low miles, and is OBO.
  2. We did a Christmas trip to Punta Cana a few years ago and had a good time. Although, I would never leave the resorts. It's not the safest place to be, and at all the merchant tents people will hassle the SHIT out of you. We did it for pretty cheap though and the resort, beach, and water were nice.
  3. Jo-ann's is a rip off. I went to the Foam Factory last week because they were local to me, but they will do online sales. http://www.usafoam.com/ I paid $125 for 3 cushions, 5" foam with a 1/2 wrap on each side.
  4. Go somewhere you will never be able to go again. We did Moorea, French Polynesia. Absolutely beautiful. It's the honeymoon capital of the world and there's good reason. A lot of people we met there booked through tahiti-for-less.com and it sounded like they had some decent deals (a few days in Moorea, a few days in Bora Bora).
  5. Very nice. That's a lot of power with a few mods that shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Maybe the 4.8L will be a engine of choice for swaps after reading this article.
  6. I think the new ones are pretty nice. I've seen 2 new SRT's out so far, both with M-plates. I agree, the CTS-V is a BA car, and it would probably be my choice if price were no object (since you can get it with a manual). But the 300c is a bigger car. It has more cargo space and more rear seat room. Plus the 300C SRT has a base price of $46k (the same as this Genesis R-Spec), while a CTS-V is $62k. At that price the SRT is a performance bargain.

  8. 6.4L/470 HP of American muscle, mated to an Mercedes 5 speed automatic, based on an old Merc chassis, trimmed in Italian leather. What could be better?
  9. Would rather have a 2012 300C SRT for the same price.

    Scion FT-86

*I'd like the Genesis Coupe if it were made by GM and had a turbo Ecotec in it. Better?

    Scion FT-86

I think it has potential. I like the Genesis coupe, so in concept I like the FT-86 too. Now less hope it's executed well.
  12. Thankfully, MI just instated a 4 year maximum for welfare!
  13. The problem is, people don't want to feel the pain of reduced spending. They'll bitch and complain that we need to cut spending, but once something they benefit from gets cut or reduced they run to the streets (or blogs) in protest. In MI for example, our new gov. is working hard to balance the budget. Everyone was on board, until certain programs got cut backs. Now there are people picketing everywhere and trying to get people to sign recall petitions. The "not in my backyard" mentality is a vicious circle where nobody wins until we all acknowledge the problem and agree to feel some pain in the process of fixing it.
  14. Nate - I'll hook you up. PM me how you want to do this. I'll check my old hard drive to see what I still have.
  15. Lose the sneeze guards. Other then that it looks good. I like that color.

    Baby Ben

Congrats! Just about 5 weeks until my wife's due date!
  17. I think I have a couple gigs of racing video's on my old computer, but no video's will be newer than about 2005 or 6.
  18. Ecotec LNF. I think ZZP finally blew theirs up at 625 whp in a Cobalt.
  19. Stock engine was an all aluminum 2.0L turbo.
  20. This car is pretty much done. I think the dyno numbers are pretty weak for the extent of the engine build, but they claim that their dyno reads low (saying the last C6 Z06 on there put down 414 whp).
