  1. Here is a quote from EvoM: I'm an attorney who came across this post from another forum and I'd be willing to bet my entire salary for next year that OP and his supporters in this thread are at the bottom of the intellectual totem pole. It's sickening how many of you think violence to this degree is justified. We don't live in the Wild West, the law exists for a reason.. As you will very soon find out. Vigilante justice to this extent over a piece of property is for the weak minded, period. You're not doing society any favor by beating this guys ass. Your machismo high school bull**** and his narrow minded racism are a large part of what is wrong with society today. As the top voted YouTube comment says, "You are just as much of a jagoff as the vandalizer." You can keep talking this "force necessary for defense of property and detainment" bull**** but you are trained in Mixed Martial Arts. Who the **** is trained to the degree that you are, yet has to break a guy's nose and leg in order to detain him... Oh wait, because he spit on you? How old are you again? Then again, it's not surprising that people like you and your supporters are shouting idiotic things like "castle doctrine!" and "self defense!".. I am on an Mitsu forum after all.. Where the bottom of the aforementioned intellectual totem pole are sure to be You can keep parading this around OP, but I can promise you that there will be repercussions. I don't know what attorney you hired (though something tells me you don't really have one), but any one that tells you it's OK to keep a video like this up and to publicly talk about the incident while the legal details are still being sorted out has no ****ing clue what they are doing. There are so many legal outcomes to this scenario that it is absolutely mind boggling anyone (attorney or otherwise) could think it's a good idea to publicly share such things. Do you realize how powerful of a force the Internet is? Do you realize how far and how fast this video is going to spread? I'm not going to tell you what forum I came from, but let's just say it has absolutely nothing to do with cars. All it takes is one attorney to see this video and decide to take up his case pro bono (either in the hopes of cashing in, or just because you sound like a dumb**** who needs to be taught a lesson in being a decent human being) to make your life a living hell. Whether you win the case or not you are going to be stressed and you are going to spend thousands defending yourself. And people like me are going to repost this video (for when you undoubtedly end up removing it) and share it throughout other large Internet communities in an attempt to cause a viral spread and hopefully bring some attention from some actual adults to this incident. You morons can keep celebrating, but I promise the celebration will soon turn sour
  2. P.S. I love it how people are so fucking clueless today. Did anyone take a history course in school!? On both the EvolutionM forum link posted and the original forum I took it from (XceedSpeed) people are always posting, "OMG, why would he do that." "Is it just because it was a Japanese car." "What's 12-7" GET A FUCKING CLUE! Mitsubishi made the planes that bombed Pearl Harbor. Today's the 70th anniversiary.
  3. Personally, I think he took it too far. You never know what people are capable of, even if he came out on top this time. That guy could have easily pulled a weapon, since he's obviously already worked up enough to spray paint a random persons car. In the end it's just a car. It's not worth getting into a fight with an unknown outcome and possibly face charges.
  4. If that trend continues through the winter, look for massive flooding of the Mississippi next year.
  5. Being the anniversary of the Peal Harbor attack, a retired Navy vet saw a Mitsubishi EVO and proceeded to spray paint "12-7 USN" on the side of it. He was caught in the act by the owner, who beat the crap out of him, then slammed his leg in a car door to keep him from fleeing. The owner then pulled out his cell phone and recorded a video of him cussing the guy out. The vet ended up with a broken nose, broken leg, and other cuts and bruises. Now, the vet is definitely in the wrong for vandelizing the car, but did the owner take it too far? Do you think this constitutes assult? P.S. He got the paint off with WD-40. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t30/Dapper_Dan1972/IMAG0238.jpg http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t30/Dapper_Dan1972/IMAG0237.jpg http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t30/Dapper_Dan1972/IMAG0236.jpg The video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30Pbek9p2WE
  6. I haven't quite kept up with ZZP, but the Cobalt's will put out more power to the wheels. I would be skeptical of 400 HP out of the stock turbo. It runs out of steam up top and the exhaust side is very restrictive (why it spools so well). I swapped the compressor wheel on one for a GT2868HTA wheel and only gained ~15 hp on the top end. The exhaust side was just too restrictive and I didn't want to clip the turbine wheel and sacrifice spool. Project abandoned. (This was on a Cobalt owned by one of Trifecta's tuners and they spent quite some time trying to get the most out of it.) I would do an intercooler upgrade, meth injection, and play with the tune. When you get bored with that upgrade the turbo. The EFR is really the only way to go, IMO.
  7. It looks like a penis. EDIT: I just watched the video. I would gladly hold that giant glock penis and make it fire.
  8. It would be front heavy but would make amazing noises. It sounds like the daily drivability of his car is intact. With such a short wheelbase it would make for an interesting ride when you cross the boost threshold. As AC66Bronco said, you can make really good power with just a turbo swap, an intercooler, and meth injections. Stock engine, stock fuel system (you can swap the in-tank pump with a GMT900 if you have fueling issues during LONG WOT pulls), and a reflash with HPTuners. 450-500 HP is no unheard of with this short list of mods.
  9. There's no proof he actually took this pic, as it lacks any sort of watermark. The wife cleaned the carpet and her clothes before I could get my head out of the toilet. The only pic I could attempt is a pic of my angry wife, and I might need her help later so that idea was nixed.
  10. I got a flu shot this year and I got hammered by this last night. As I'm upstairs with it coming out of both ends my wife is downstairs screaming because our 3 month old son projectile diarrhea'd all over the place while she was changing him. Not going to be a fun day.
  11. Yes. In today's age I find it un acceptable to not have any sort of tracking available. Their tracking is a joke. It only tells you that it's been delivered.
  12. The problem I have with these changes is the USPS needs to be run like a business. Making your product worse in order to keep from bleeding cash is not the answer. They should be continuing to offer their trasitional products, not slowing them down (or dropping the guarantee, which is equal in the customers eyes), improve their services (like priority mail and package delivery), and manage their fixed costs (drop Sat home delivery, close failing branches, etc).
  13. By using "Dart" they're trying to bring back public interest after "Caliber."
  14. Buy the MAP sensor, then buy the EFR bolt on upgrade. http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/p/786-EFR-Bolt-in-Turbo-Upgrade.aspx I think the Stage kit warranty is only 3/36k anyway. I don't know what you get if you add it to a used car.
  15. Yea, but if the car's a 2007 there's probably not much warranty left.
  16. Stage 1 is a no-brainer. It gets you a higher range MAP sensor (better for tuning if you up the boost or swap turbos), and you get NLS. You can buy the MAP with a plug and play harness from crate engine depot for cheap, then d/l the stage tune from the HPT repository.
  17. Actually both the Cruze and the 200C are selling very well. The Cruse gets better mileage than the Jetta, handles pretty well, has the best stereo in class, comes with a lot of features, etc. My only complaint is that the seat bottoms are a little firm. While I'm not totally crazy about the 200C's headlights, I think they did a good job improving a mediocre car (the Sebring) and the "S" model looks better than this Jetta, IMO. It also comes with a 285HP V6 that gets 30 mpg on the freeway (my co-workers wife actually gets 32), and also comes with a decent number of features (bluetooth, MyGig, etc). I guess the new Jetta's just not my cup of tea.
  18. My former coworker build one as a design project in college probably 10 years ago. It was installed on his chevelle, but i don't know how durable it turned out to be.
  19. Personally, I think the power output is weak, and the styling is boring. Nearly every review I've seen comments on how cheap feeling the car is, and now Consumer Reports has alleged that some of the cars sent to them may have been "fluffed." Honestly, at this price I would rather drive a Cruze or a 200C (yes, I said it).
  20. When he booked the studio he said he needed to do a photo shoot with a guy working a vibrator. It was a simple misunderstanding.
  21. Through the first few weeks in December kroger is doing 4x gas points on gift cards. Does that change the balance much?
  22. They said the 100-millionth small block is going to the Heritage Collection, but I think it would be more fitting if they put it in an RX7.
  23. Probably with a nice base of ice since it's been raining all day. You would think people in the motor city would be decent drivers, but my commute is going to suck ballz. I hate this time of year; the weather, not the holiday's.
