  1. It's a 1 in 3200 chance the ANY person will get hit, but one in a couple trillion that you will.
  2. Good to know. Wasn't there another store location around 161 and 33?
  3. My family always buys their meat there during the holiday's. They have a few different location's, but I heard they're owned by different families and they hate each other. Not sure if that's true.
  4. DTM is coming to America for a race. Is the A5 sportback doesn't have enough rear seat head room, then how do things like the BMW X6 and Acura ZDX get made? The A5 must be pretty cramped. That sucks about the reasons we don't get a quattro diesel, and it's funny because a guy at work and I were just talking about this. The key words are that 'it'e too late in the life cycle to make sense.' That means I would look for it on the next model. Also, I'm surprised at the reason because you'd think they could tune around it if it's just extreme high load situations.
  5. THIS. Although if you're talking about putting away $40-50k per year you will easily max out your Roth IRA. Do a 401k up to your company match, then a Roth IRA, then a Roth 401k, then max out the rest of your 401k or do your own investing on the side. You would be best off talking to a financial planner...or call Suzie Orman.
  6. That's the same stuff we deal with. Tim, have you ever been to Disney with your kids? That place could teach everyone a thing or two about food preparation and allergies. It was amazing how accomodating they are for everyone given the number of people they serve on a daily basis.
  7. does someone want to guy buy two for me? I'll give you a $20 premium on each, plus shipping.
  8. I can totally sympathize with you on the food allergy. While my wife's is not life thretening, it does make her sick. It's been extremely difficult to eat anywhere and feel completely safe. Even places that advertise that certain meals are safe for her have made her sick (only during busy dinner times, never during a slow period). Cross-contamination is a huge issue, and anyone working in food preparation needs to be trained on the potential dangers of 'experimenting,' especially on a surface that is typically free of allergens.
  9. Thanks Rob. I'll keep trying. Jesse, there is a 7" Galaxy Tab.
  10. That's cool, considering most parking lot get together's are rods and rods shows.
  11. Has anyone found any place online that still has them? My wife just had a baby 2 days ago and I would like to get one for her since it's easier to use than her giant laptop. Thanks.
  12. Trying to help out a friend. If he doesn't sell it soon he's going to trade it in. I would hate to see it go to a dealership. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=305152187
  13. Note to self, don't F with caged Trailblazer's with home made gauge clusters. Wasn't that silver Z06 in a vid you posted last week? Doesn't anyone have a horn anymore, or do they enjoy screaming 1-2-3?

    13,000 MPH.

Yeah, that seemed fairly obvious to me. Scramjets have been talked about for a long time, but haven't gone very far. But from the slide they showed of the HTV-3X (apparently a cancelled version that was to be the next iteration) says it's a turbo Ramjet, which wouldn't be a scramjet and is surprising to me. Hypersonic flight, rocket booster propels it to supersonic speeds before the engines fire, this thing has all the makings of a scramjet. I would love to see one finally work.
  15. Dear God, those wheels need to get taken off that Solstice ASAP. I never thought I'd see a ghetto fab Sol.

    13,000 MPH.

My question is, does it reach 13,000 mph as a maximum speed or is this its cruising speed once it's leveled off? It could easily reach 13k MPH when it reaches low Earth orbit, but to maintain that speed after reentry would be amazing. Also, the 3rd iteration of the test vehicle has inlets for jet engines. It would have to be a pretty advanced engine to operate while traveling that speed.
  17. Dayton USAF Museum Armstrong Air and Space museum There are a lot of parks around Columbus that you could hike
  18. Fixed. Danica actually isn't that bad. She routinely finishes in the top 10 with several top 5's and had a legitimate chance at Indy this year.
  19. FYI - Just a few onths ago the Pontiac police force was disbanded (the city has no money) and not Pontiac is patrolled by Oakland County. That memans things could be different and they'll be everywhere, or they'll be stretched so thin you'll never see them.
  20. That's what Woodward is every other weekend in the summer. This week (people started cruising today) has so many people converging on Woodward that you'll be in bumper to bumper traffic on the busy sections. I've heard of people racing off of Woodward, but the cops will be out in full force. About 2 years ago my friend was on 696 in his RB25 S14 and ended up running into TT Ford GT and something else (forget what the lamer car was) roll racing. I think it's definietly worth it to go if you are into cars. People on here will go hang out in a Home Depot parking lot on a Fri/Sat night to see/hang out with the same people every weekend. You go to the Dream Cruise and you have ~13 miles of cars and millions of people. Hot rods, muscle cars, cruisers, kit cars, race cars, drag cars, customs, concept cars, rare cars, bikes, trikes, you name it, it's there. If you're looking to hoon, show up early in the week, make friends that are local, and stay through Sat night.
  21. That's why you don't drive on it. Get off I-75, pull into residential streets before hitting Woodward, find a place to park, and walk all day.
  22. I'm interested in the multiple GoPro camera rig and how they sync'd all the camera's.
