  1. Does the Legacy have that much of a rear over hang and a robbed roof? usually the headlights are a dead giveaway, but I draw a blank on this one. (haven't watched the video, just the pics above)
  2. No problem. Ask me whatever you want if you have more questions.
  3. Sounds like an awesome opportunity. Congrats.
  4. Did we just encompass all internet stupidity into one thread?
  5. We did this once to a Durango, but it was an enclosed trailer (very tight fit). There was no way in hell I was going to try it, but it was the middle of AZ, so there wasn't much choice.
  6. Get a reflash. It's essentially the same engine that was in the SRX/9-4x and Insignia OPC (Euro Buick Regal). I'm not sure if there were small tweaks made between versions, though.
  7. To be fair, those turbo 2.8L have 300-320 HP stock, so it pulls decent compared to most sedans out there. I don't love any of my current cars, but they get the job done. The Volt comes the closest because it's been a huge surprise at how much I enjoy driving it in traffic, but it's easily replaceable. I miss my MSP though.
  8. Considering GM has leaked info of a boosted version of the engine, and there are current solutions for the DI Ecotec (450 HP on stock fuel system) and the DI 3.6L (IPS twin Turbo kit) I don't think there's going to be much of an issue. The biggest hurdle will be getting access to the ECU, which probably means Vince @ Trifecta is about to be a very rich man. The tuners that know what they are doing won't have a problem.
  9. http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/3162/Nerds-Eye-View-Mike-Ryans-Banks-Super-Turbo-Powered-Pikes-Peak-Freightliner.aspx A friend of mine worked at Banks Power and was involved with this. Pretty awesome, even if it's a semi.
  10. Truck must have been dead so they had to roll it down hill? That should buff right out.
  11. Which electronics are bothersome? Rev match? Exhaust valves? HUD?
  12. I've been seeing a lot of them on the roads up here and I like it. Sure, the rear end is different, but it's starting to grow on me, and they look pretty mean from the front. Plus, the performance is amazing for a $60k car.
  13. Hopefully the remote reservoir for his Motion's doesn't stay zip tied to the body.
  14. Yeah, we went to college together. Actually, I posted a comment on that pic
  15. Nice work! ProSolo is awesome. A friend of mine has been running Nationals (not sure if he's running ProSolo or just the regular class) in his gutted, stripped, Solstice with the windshield cut off.
  16. I like how the thread is from a year and a half ago and the car still hasn't progressed.
  17. Impala is the same platform as the LaCross and XTS, SS is the RWD Holden platform, latest generation of the G8.
  18. Clay, what are the current show classes named? FWIW, I hate using the term "imports" as well. Why limit it to imports? What if someone has a Dodge Stealth or SRT4? I don't see a problem with the "Tuner" name, even though I find it annoying. It seems like that's been the accepted term for late-model hot rodder's. (i.e. The progression from hot rods, muscle cars, tuner cars) What about Sport Compacts, Modern Classics, Future classics, or VDub-steppin Sushi?
  19. Are we really expected take take a guy named Weiner seriously?
  20. 2013+ I would agree with you, but I was on those boards for the first model year or so and I wouldn't recommend it.
