  1. Saw a blue camaro with some black z06 wheels completely stuck sideways and spinning its rear tires and I lol'ed. I hope he didnt think about getting on the highway because he couldn't even accelerate from an intersection. I just lol'ed and blew by him in my car with the Blizzaks on
  2. I thought we solved racism last year with a beer in the rose garden
  3. How can you call this gay more like pure sex http://carsinthefastlane.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/mazda_rx7.jpg
  4. +10000000 The government doesn't f**king get it. And now that Bernanke said no fed funds rate increase for a long time (and prime is closely linked to fed rate) there is no need to raise interest rates
  5. I have a friend who has an 87 or 88 GXL (5-lug) . He owns a body shop and just spent 1000's on a new paint job. The car is not very fast, but looks great because he had his shop do all the work on the new paint. Its white with the Burgundy interior. PM me if interested , it just got repainted and would be a good project to make fast
  6. Doooooo eeeetttttttttt Mike! You know you miss that FD of yours. Will have to post pics when i get home of you picking up the car with Kyle and me. Doesn't seem like that long ago! First FD I ever drove!
  7. bump for a nice car that hasn't been ruined by pistons!
  8. "2. For current home owners: In addition, the new law makes most current homeowners eligible for a tax credit of up to $6,500 when they purchase their next primary residence. Under the terms of the legislation, current homeowners must have lived in their home for five consecutive years over the previous eight to be eligible. Qualified home buyers can obtain the credit on homes purchased between Nov. 7 and the end of April 2010. That means they need a signed sales contract on a home before May 1, 2010, but they have until the end of June to close the sale. The income limits for current homeowners are the same as those for first-time home buyers. About 70 percent of current homeowners are now eligible for the credit, according to Phillips." ----------------------- Wow , thats pretty big, 70% of current homeowners can take advantage of this.
  9. +1 on loving the virtual keyboard. I really only like it because Apple's auto correct is so damn good that I can type some crap and it corrects it very accurately. I'm assuming you're a early 3G buyer? I am eligable in December also, and plan on getting the 3GS. Getting black this time, because my white one looks like crap and is fairly yellowed by now.
  10. Yes, all pumps are warrantied to 10 years or 100k i believe. He said that he wouldnt buy a bmw because of ONE persons bad experience.. I was trying to refute.. the car drives like a piece of butter sliding down a knife ( a good thing)
  11. Too bad you wont look at the 335xi because of one person's experience. Other than the high pressure fuel pump issue which many have, I havnet heard of any other major problems, and havent heard any issues with turbo or ECU. Its the fastest new sedan for $40k
  12. anything infrastructure design or capacity related?
  13. Had this happen to me in an old Mercedes. Throttle was staying open and I had to ride the brakes for a few miles, shifting in and out of neutral. then the brakes died .. thought i was going to die, but I eventually pulled off the road and nailed the e-brake. This guy should of thrown the car in neutral or at least hit the e-brake
  14. I've heard lots of bad things about the 2.7t. Probably not the solid evidence you are looking for, but I don't think I'd want to deal with the Audi electrical problems on top of the motor.. but then again I dont have any room to talk about reliability
  15. what are your thoughts on a projector and screen? Could be a way to get everything you're looking for.. size, HD is available, and you wouldn't have to move a 300lb TV.
  16. Ive seen this car up at Polaris around 5:30 a few times. It looked awesome! Guards red would always be my #1 choice on this car!
  17. Fuck Them. I see them sometimes between Morse and 161, NB watch out here. Also just south of 270 SB in the evenings. Fuck Them again.
  18. Its about impossible to figure out the actual displacement of a BMW inline 6 these days. 2007+ 328i = 3.0 L N/a 2007+ 335i = 3.0 L twin turbo 2001-2005 330i = 3.0 L N/a with better intake and variable cam then 325i 2006 325i = 3.0 L N/a 1998-2000 323i = 2.5 L N/a 2000-2005 325i = 2.5 L N/a 1998-2000 328i = 2.8 L N/a Oh yea, and a 550i is acutally a 4.8 L, the 540i was actually a 4.4L , etc etc . It's all marketing and makes no sense!!!
  19. Making fun of the price of a GT-R transmission is laughable when this is what Shelby rips you off for... $18,400 for a new hood $3,392.50 for a front spoiler $632.50 for hood pins (!!!!!)
  20. +1 for automotive appearance pros. On Indianola Ave near Morse Rd. was $525 for the clear bra for the 335i. They did the whole front bumper, part of the fenders, about 1 foot up the hood, mirrors, small part right behind front and rear wheels. It was +$50 for the headlights they warranty against yellowing, etc. I talked to them and I'm going to get a 2nd clear bra put on in the spring because my car is white and shows the yellowing the easiest
  21. I wasted about an hour standing outside and then walked around the building to get to the garage and get the f outta there. Then some annoying safety patrol types tried to stop my car and tell me to turn around but I made a bee-line to the main entrance. It ended up being some type of timing device for presentations. People see a stopwatch and a black plastic box and they FREAK OUT
  22. its local to NY and available in NY, PA, FL and probably some other east coast states. haven't ever seen it in OH
  23. Thanks for sharing Love the group pictures of all the pregnant teenagers. I think every high school had a pregnant posse
