Hello Ninja, No, that is not normal- my 96 Formula LT1 would pull all the way to 6000 with out any flatspots/hesitations... I had bumped the revlimiter up tho... Has he added roller rockers/different timing chain? somtimes the noise these items make can create "false knock" and the computer will pull timing. Tell him to check his plugs for gap, a complete PITA on the LT1, fuel filter, make sure he is also using good gas (shell, sunoco)... If the miss is strong it may be a plug wire or bad optispark but usually this is noticeable at below 3500 rpms and you hear the plug wire in the radio- I did... Anyways... hth

Hehe jk... My off track racing is very limited these days at the married age of 25... I have been in the Columbus area for most of my life, went away for college and graduate school and am now back- Columbus has a lot to offer! I used to have a '96 Bright Red LT1 Firebird with gears, nitrous, and other smaller mods. 13.9s off nitrous. never sprayed at the track. I totaled it unfortunately and got a 04 Acura RSX-S- I tinkered with it for a while but missed the V8 so I gave it to my wife and took her car, a bone stock '95 240sx to sell to buy a mustang. Well I have the mustang now AND the 240 hehe I will be selling the 240 very soon I hope to pay off the mustang... Mustang is BAD! 90 notch lx with headers, off road h-pipe, flowmasters, HD tranny and clutch, gears, and other smaller stuff. Anyways- sorry for the length- Laters, Andrew

Hey all, This is my first post- From C-bus originally- went away for way too much school- back, married, and hipo cars obsession still strong. Used to have an LT1 Firebird now have a 5.0 fox mustang- Go figure. So... Who knows of a good shop to install subframe connectors- preferably with a drive-on lift. I also need my torque boxes welded and possibly some reinforcements welded in... Thanks a lot, hpfiend
