While I have not had a tune performed yet, Dynotune Motorsports does nice mechanical work and I am planning on a tune with them. I had not heard of LaSota before I will check into that as well... I had mike there adjust my rocker arms and build my rear-end.

Hey man, I feel your pain... I have a MS in Molecular Genetics and a BS with honors from a top 20 university and I didn't even get a call back or interview from Battelle/Pfizer/Merck/Ross/Abbot etc.... Hence the career change. I now work in residential site development as an estimator. A real good friend of mine who worked as a research assistant with me in grad school also abandoned her bs in biology and got a job in business, just got her mba that she did during nights and is making great money... Like someone else said though, research assistant or pharmaceutical/biotech sales are probably your best options for the most money- unfortunately the biotech/pharma jobs are tough to land without knowing someone... I would look at childrens hospital... Good Luck bro... sorry I don't have any better advice... I was more of a what you know guy than who you know but am now trying to change that as a result..

Before you pull that clutch make sure you have the cable routed properly and it sounds like you are having cable stretch.... If you have a nut on hte end it an adjustable cable and they are prone to stretching- stick with ford cables..... I had a Ford Racing Heavy Duty clutch with an aftermarket adj. cable and that pedal was unbearable- switched to a king cobra with the same cable and while it was better it wasn't THAT much better... Got the full maximum motorsports kit and while it still isnt an EASY pedal it is bearable and MUCH BETTER. Night and day.... I would call it moderate to light... I got with the kit, firewall adjuster, aluminum quadrant, and a ford factory cable that is longer so it is less likely to bind - it may be an SN95 cable I forget... regardless the longer cable alone with your setup is probably enough... the car is a daily driver and unless I am really tired and stuck in traffic for a long time I hardly notice the pedal effort... Make sure that you are not trying to route that cable between the motormount and the crossmember- common problem... search on the corral for proper routing... Good luck

Hey all, Anyone know where around Columbus they have index racing? Basically heads up racing in a certain ET range, i.e. 12.40-12.60 or so... Thanks, Andrew

Eric/302, I didn't know there were replies to this- I am glad Mike's knowhow is already somewhat understood on the list... how did your chip turn out 302? Mike just overhauled my rearend- 31 spline setup- 3.73s seem to have a bit more balls than the 3.55s I had... The previous owner had broken off the crosspin bolt so Mike had to break the boss in the carrier with a chisel to get it apart, he let me know ahead of time in case I had plans for the old trak-lok and did not charge me any extra. I would have died had I decided to take this project on myself and found that out in the middle.. (I was tempted to do it as I rebuilt the 7 5/8" rear in my Firebird) The car is silent and ready for slicks now... Thanks Mike! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Laters, Andrew

Hey all, Just wanted to pass along a good experience- Dynotune Motorsports with a good reputation on here for their custom tuning also does great mechanical work. I had an awful ticking noise on my recently installed trickflow heads cam and intake package on my 5.0 and Mike @ Dynotune (a ford certified technician that also works at a local dealership) took a look at it and when I went to pick it up it was like a completely new car! I think he adjusted the idle for me as well as the car ran fantastic after he graced it with his touch... now the car is about as silent as you can expect with a racy cam and aftermarket rockers... He also went as far as to check and tighten some of the bolts on the upper intake that were near impossible to get to... I will be having him overhaul my rearend as soon as I get off my butt and order the parts... Just wanted you all to know... Thanks, Andrew

How much boost does this make? Is the wastegate adjustable? How is the lag? Why are you selling so soon? I am only looking for about 5-6psi under 100 rwhp - how much fender cutting is required to install? Are a lot of modifications required to mount intercooler? Any pictures? More interested in an A-trim blower or a pullied down S-trim but am intrigued- Thanks, Andrew

black- which is good as they go with any color... My car is burgundy and they look sharp...

I soldered a nitrous kit in my firebird and found out later that crimp connections are actually better because the vibrations road cars experience can cause the brittle soldered wires to fail... I agree tho - those blue/crimp box splice things are sh!$%. IMO, The best connection you can do is to split the stranded wires and then interlock the two Y's together and twist back the ends and then zip tie... Cover with elec. tape or pref- liquid insulation/heat shrink..

Where do you get a Lightning MAF?

Opti is a PITA to install tho- I totaled mine before I had to do it- the wires were enough for me! That ended up fixing the problem - no7 or no8 was split at the boot- radio noise and occasional serious miss around 3K. THat is true the opti can show up at different rpms but a lot of times it is below 3500... ask this same message on www.camaroz28.com or join the f-body mailing list... I was a member from 1995 until this year.. I got my opti from www.gmpartsdirect.com cheap as I thought that was what was wrong- slow shipping but good prices- sounds like a deal that you have there tho shitaro on the gmparts- tell your friend to enjoy- I miss the LT1/T56 combo- beautiful- hard to work on but nice-
