My question was put out due to the fact that every single person I have known that has had a fox body with a cam had to adjust the idle slightly after adding a cam to get it to idle and not do what the OP's car did. Not a band aid at all. Working on Fox bodies isn't rocket science or magical tuning. Really basic stuff that has worked for years and is what everyone has done with them.
If it's obviously an underlying problem, then why would adjusting the idle fix the issue? I'm trying to help the guy out, not tell him that he needs new parts when he doesn't. Your thoughts are good ones, just not things that need to be changed in his case. Atleast not now.
