  1. Don't have to buy multiple 22lb bags of ice now. Brian was telling us about the car the other day. 400 wheel must be interesting in a Saturn.
  2. See post above me. Built 2V. Look at sig and realize that they are fine. Even my car with the "built" factory motor has it's limitations. Doesn't take that much coin to make a 2V car quick.
  3. 10 spline input shaft is a possible issue.
  4. They have better flow numbers, but I haven't witnessed a car with them yet either. I'd like to, but they just aren't around that I know of.
  5. I hope that he meant 2V's, but with the new Trick Flow heads on those they make silly power. Of course there is an un-named 2V that puts down around 600 wheel with stock PI castings. I'm sure that they have been opened up, but the 4.6 does just fine.
  6. That was crazy. Definitely looked like the video games that I would play in an arcade, but in real life!
  7. No, I've never seen a bone stock Mach 1 run 13.0x's . That's not on tires either. It takes a hell of a driver, but I know of a few locally that have gone 13.1x's with zero mods.
  8. Is that because they needed to be bailed out by the feds, or......
  9. It wasn't too much fun to watch it run, but it's set up to do what it did. Just not my flavor.
  10. I found a video of my car. Only pass on the brakes. Didn't want to get kicked out on a crappy pass. Sucks that you had to go into work.
  11. Just look in the pics and vids section under track pics and look for Buzz's car coming out. That will take care of all of anyone's worries. 4200 pound luxury caddy rolling out.
  12. I feel like the keys have been mentioned three times now. I'm just saying......
  13. No deal. I need all the help I can get against that 4-door "family" car of yours Good seeing you again. It's been awhile.
  14. Cover is off. I think it's alright, but I'm not positive. PM sent.
  15. Is it a ford gear? Stock rear to this point?
  16. Sounds like maybe the keys might be going bad. Mine broke after that happened for awhile and it was stuck in 4th. Gave me an excuse to get it built. They put better keys in with the rest of the upgrades. Definitely could be something else, but that is what mine did before it went south. Keep in mind that I don't take it easy on the tranny at all.
  17. Hell no, haha. It's Buzz. Real cool guy, but I think if he hits me in the chest again that it will colapse. Car is nasty.
  18. I told the guys that I was there with that in good air and on a pass when the car is cooled down, that it would see 10.70's. It was awesome to see a four door caddy squat down and roll out!
  19. I got the valve cover off this morning and everything looked to be alright there. I'll have the front drive on the blower rebuilt and hope that it isn't in the timing chains. Gave me something to stay busy for a few days though.
  20. Ran an 11.34@123 with a 1.72 60' then had to run the nittos. Track went away as the day went on. Found out some things on the way home. Tried to turn on the A/C and it didn't work. Hmm. Weird. Everytime the car was taken out of gear it would stall. Got back to the other side of town and the check engine light came on. Stopped at Autozone and popped the hood. My friend says "TPS is almost out". One screw was gone and the other was 3/4 of the way out. Needless to say, the sensor wasn't doing anything. Went in and bought a couple of screws and put it back in. Tried the A/C again and it worked. Without a TP signal I guess the computer goes into safe mode and won't let the compressor kick on. Stopped at said friends house and unhooked the battery to get rid of the code. Unload the tires and hook the battery back up and start the car only to get some horrific noise. Sounds like the blower went to poo or something in the valvetrain on the drivers side Blower is already off and apart and looks to be ok, but I will be rebuilding the front drive anyway. Took valve cover bolts off to find out that 4V covers on the drivers side don't want to come off when the motor is in the car. Spent 3 hours taking it apart only to not really find anything out. Stupid Friday the 13th.......
  21. When my falls apart I know where to find a replacement
  22. My Cobra brakes fit a 15" wheel. Just took slight grinding of the calipers.
  23. You will need 60's or 80's depending on if you plan on E85 at any point. You will also need either Ford GT pumps or a BAP as well, if you don't already have either. It may have the stock 3.55 gear then. Atleast you have the Cobra rear brakes still with the Mach 1 rear. Is the blower ported? Ask the guy on SVT what he did to it and that will help you greatly.
