15 years ago I hadn't met my almost ex-wife yet, still at OSU, and was banging gears in a 93 mustang GT. Thought it was relatively quick and had a ton of fun on the east side of town with it. It was a 12 second car and I thought it was rather exciting. Now, 20 surgeries later, wondering when I can get relief from my back pain and this crazy ass divorce...my 03 Cobra is still around, but I took it apart so she didnt take it. Just waiting on things to finalize, so I can take the car to the next level of insanity

First year I went it was at vets memorial and was slightly busy. It has grown every year and I've not been in a long time. I dont like being in crowds that big, so I stay away. Miss going though.

This is basically what I was getting at. The car isnt a super car. Stock performance was solid, but not over the top. The reason people put it on that pedestal is that they can be modded to make a ton of power. That takes it out of the discussion. It isnt what it can do when modified, it's what it did stock.

It had super potential, that's for damn sure. I'm not sure that I would put it, or the 300zx, 3000gt, rx7, or the nsx in the supercar category. Each of the listed cars are unique and have varying levels of mod potential. It seems that the Supra had some good parts to hold a decent amount of abuse though. At the end of the day, I dont really care what people call it. Were they amazing machines with over built stock parts? Yes. Were or are they worthy of the supercar moniker? I'd say that's subjective.
