White LT1 turbo Z28 went 8.3x@176 a couple of times. Jon with the 2JZ 240 was going 8 0h's, but went red in the 2nd round. It was a really ridiculously quick and fast field. Fun to watch for sure.

I see a shit load of challengers and chargers at the track. Every time I have gone for a test and tune night. I also have seen low 12/high 11 second passes out of stock 6th gen Camaros, which is impressive. Not just a random ringer car either.

He went 9.01@167 in the semis. Car that won ran 8.06 the one pass and 8.13@184 in the final.

Once again our resident racer Mike, aka 86GT, did some work at the track. He finished runner up in the stick shift class. Unfortunately, he shredded his accessory belt before the final and it took out a CO2 line, so he couldn't race for the win. Plenty of other good racing took place too. The small tire final was silly. The white supra and the firebird were both stupid fast cars. Had to see that one. It was also good to see other guys out racing and having a good time.

Maybe I'll see you at Mark's tonight and take advantage of that.... :gabe:

Some of the dumbest shit I see on the road still comes from fucking Prius drivers. I've driven 60k miles over the past 18 months too. Not a small sample size. Plenty of dumb from CRV drivers too. My ex wife drives one, so......

You are correct, but either way they gave too much and people died. It could have easily been avoided too. If the people involved, on the medical side, didnt know how much fentanyl it takes to kill someone, then they need to find another job. That's not an excuse. I'm not a knee jerk reactor here either. I have experience in pharma and have been given fentanyl many times for various surgical procedures, so I'm familiar with that end of it too. It's too bad that everyone is focused on the doc and not on the grieving families as well.

Well, the doc, nurse, and pharmacist should all be in jail. No excuse for what they were doing.

Yeah, Turner did a rush tune on the car a month or so ago. I was hoping to run into him when they came to get the car, but it didnt work out that way.

Well, I'm not exactly sure when I met Bob, but it was atleast 5 years ago at the track. Probably longer ago, but it doesnt matter. Heard today that he died after a battle with cancer. I know that a few of you guys knew him as well. For those that ever went to trails he drove a silver 99-04 Mustang GT with a black hood. He won the street class at trails last year. That would be for bracket racing on Wednesdays for those who dont know. Sad news for sure. RIP Bob.
