  1. Can't afford a drum set in Iceland?
  2. Not exactly. The top gear times say the 350z and the m3 and the Rx8 are the same. http://www.topgear.com/content/tgonbbc2/laptimes/thestig/ Now you have to factor in that they are similar cars but in different countries. I say its believeable.
  3. Another vote for creative. They have made dsp chips since the beginning of dsp. Granted they are slightly bigger, but it is possible to swap batteries in 10 seconds. And as far as warranties, buy one from best buy with a 2 year warranty for $20.
  4. [little jon's voice] Real WRX roll call [/little jon's voice]
  5. haha ricochet What turbo are you running because a TT isn't really needed unless you are running oil cooling only.
  6. http://www.neongalleries.com/282/zafira.html first search for "Bettina"
  7. I have no idea who Chris Angle is, but the video sucked.
  8. Yeah I went... I think Chris Rock is better at standup, but Dave can tell some good jokes.
  9. How many miles had you put on the sr20 when this happened? You know you can get a long block + tranny for ~$1200, or less.
  10. Has hookers and beer been suggested? Cheap car = problems. Ask me how I know.
  11. 1) People that smack their lips when they eat. 2) Rattling pieces on the interior of a car.
  12. My sister has one and has had no major problems with it. She owns a '00 with >90k on it. The only problem she's had is with the key/lock on the ignition -- probably not common. But it only get ~16mpg city, 18 hwy.
  13. 87-88 turbo cars have a different pintout on the ECU's than the 89-92 cars. No the wiring harness and ECU's are not interchangable. If its not starting, try checking to see if its getting both fuel and spark and verifying timing. These things will start even if there is a bad sensor or two. Muddbutt: I didn't mean synthetics were too slick for the motor, just the seals and oil-control rings.
  14. 12 psi max out of the stock ecu/turbo. Get 550 cc injectors and an AFM from a lexus v8 and you can run almost 1 bar - which would be good for a mid to low 13 second quarter mile. Good luck losing weight because the whole thing is made out of steel and not light. A 3" exhaust will be the best mod, and you can get a k&n filter and chop off the front of the stock box. The biggest hassel is keeping these things reliable with a ton of miles on them. Copper plugs are fine, and I wouldn't suggest any synthetic oil that is too slick, because the rings can get loose, and they spin bearing VERY easily. Supraforums.com has a great MkIII board. You'll also most likely need some form of an aftermarket BOV because the stock ones don't last either. There is a VW/Porsche/Saab plastic model that is cheap, but you'll have to research a part number. Anything else I can help you with, I use to have one but I am glad that is no longer.
  15. Interior is sharp, better than many I've seen lately. How do you become a test driver for Honda? - I would donate a kidney for that job
  16. You have to know where he is coming from. I agree with the review and found it informative, but he doesn't only rip into american cars. If you've seen the new BMW M5 video, he dogs on it the ENTIRE time, that is, until he presses the "M" button. A lot of people won't agree with his analysis, but if you had the same job, you would do the exact same thing. And driving cars for a living it's easy to seperate the good from the bad.
  17. No... I am just as bad. ( I even debating on posting this.)
