  2. You people are forgetting the center differental doesn't control how much torque goes to the front/rear it control how much lockup the clutch packs have to the front/rear. But 35/65 doesn't mean 65% of the torque is going to the rear wheels. You'll have to read up more on it to get the complete explaination of how exactly it works but that gives you some idea.
  3. click Does anyone have more info on Group X becides their site?
  4. Emachines was bought by Gateway, so its a Gateway laptop. My uncle bought one over the summer and its nice. Good price, not too heavy, and almost 3 hour battery.
  5. This road is similar and its on the Tennesee/NC border. I drove it this past June and it was the scariest road I have ever been on. It was pouring down rain and my car was hydroplaning. The water had no where to go. I didn't feel safe going 45mph. Good views though, too bad I just couldn't take them in.
  6. I didn't believe it either, but a buddy of mine told me they have pictures on the airport cameras they are not allowed to be released to the public..
  7. I had one of these, and it seems to me like the only thing that causes a rough idle and black smoke is the AFM. TPS would mainly cause a high idle. How did you guys check the AFM? because maybe its a wire going to the unit somewhere. But I really think that is the problem.
  8. Doesn't it have instructions that came with the kit? It should be really easy...
  9. A good friend of mine wants to sell his Porsche 928. Its darker grey, 5 speed, black interior, pretty much stock. No visual exterior rust, only 99,500 miles. Its also has an excellent history as to which I don't know completely but the owner of Crown (or MAG) use to own it. This car has been well taken care of by a mechanic since he's owned it (he is a mechanic), about 7 years or so, not sure. I don't have any pics, but I can get some if interested, or just take you to see it. North end/Worthington Area. Looking to get $9500, but negioatable..

  15. Not to be PC, but not one person here has called it by its correct name, tC. Anyway for the price its a good buy. And I think it looks more like a RSX than an Ion.
  16. Any other jobs? I suck at html, however I do attend OSU.
  17. Good, because I ordered one yesterday. When I changed the timing belt at about 190,000 (30k ago), I put a cheapy $20 water pump in from Advanced. Genuine Honda water pumps are ~50. However if the blades on the two are no different, we'll be back to square one.
  18. Thanks for the suggestions but, both fans work... nothing is obstructing the airflow comming in becides the fins on the condencer, and I just flushed filled the radiator today (failed to mention) any other suggestions?
  19. I have the differential out of a 82-85 Toyota Supra. I can confirm it is LSD. Need to get rid of or else going in the trash. $50
  20. It was easier for me to buy a used engine from japan. They can be had for $~600-800. Plus you get tons of extra parts and usually a working turbo.
  21. I have this overheating problem with my accord but let me explain the symptoms. When driving on the highway at or above 3000 rpms (70+mph) for over 20 minutes, the temperature gauge will start to raise. It matters not whether the A/C is on, but the gauge rises faster with it on. Today I changed the thermostat and put brand new coolant in, but still the problem exists. There are no leaks, no air bubbles. The overflow can is full and does not overflow. Oh, and this ONLY happens on the highway when its hot out, I could drive around all day varying rpms city driving. One possible solution I have is that the a/c condencer has many bent fins from bugs and rocks, but it still flows air. Any other suggestions? Colder plug maybe?
  22. Most haynes manuals have a procedure where you can test resisitance with an ohm meter. Take the positive and negative connectors and connect them from the meter, from what I remember, anything above 0 resistance is good.
