  1. Getting "pait"?I'm at home listening to the 3 kids fight! It is cold.
  2. I have one completely rebuilt with 0 miles I will let go for a reasonable price.Pm me for info.He will let it go cheap as he no longer has a 3.8 and it is just sitting in my garage.
  3. That's no big deal they are both incredible cars.I remeber running around right out of high school and a 13 sec car would beat 1/2 the cars around. Now they are going 6's and 7's and still driving on the street.
  4. This is the one I thought you were going to post. http://www.superchevy.com/events/sucp_0901_super_chevy_show_norwalk/index.html
  5. My Brother-In-Law just got hit in his wifes Galant.$3500.00 estimate to fix and KBB HIGH Dealer Retail is $5000.00.He is fighting with them to total it.They said cause it's under 100k mileage(it has 90k) they want to fix it.
  6. +1. I was going to say I could have got away from them in my Wifes Sienna as slow as they were.Of course,I did dyno it and it had 2000 fwhp!
  7. 185 ft/lbs@4800 rpm and 3600 lbs didn't work for me either.I test drove the IS250 then bought the last brand new 2005 IS300 they had on the lot!
  8. I think $30k is a lot for a Civc but if it's what he wanted then fine.I got an IS300 that was $35k with 215 hp.I didn't want an STI or EVO as I think their ugly and sound like crap.I wasn't looking for the fastest car I could buy.I wanted a nice, reliable sporty car and that's what I got. It's a nice looking Civic and I'm sure it's a nice daily driver.
  9. Those things run high 12's stock.I think $56k is a lot of cash for a car but I'd take that over a German Car anyday. No offense to the Audi and BMW crowd I'm just partial to Japanese Cars.
  10. No scam.I'd call the dealership. They would like to up sell you on something while your there but you can get in and out for free just by saying no.
  11. Beat on it with a hammer, they usually rust from the inside out and the older ones (1984-1988) it was back at the bend by the rear axle.I've parted out many that were rusted in that same place. When I worked for Toyota we actually welded on "reinforcement" plates on the 2wd frames when the were new.Is it a 4 cyl or 6?
  12. I know eggs and sugar!That's weird.
  13. Try Bob-Boyd Lincoln Mercury on Scarborough. He can get up to F550.Ask for Glenn and tell him Kevin Courtright sent you. They will take good care of you.
  14. That's wrong!I got a ticket for expired tags while driving my Grandpas pickup. The Cop said I was driving it so i was responsible for the vehicle.
  15. Did they ever find the actual killers?
  16. Hatfield used to get RHD Cherokees and Subarus for mail carriers.A guy I knows Mom has a Cherokee.
  17. The electric cars are impressive from an acceleration stand point.I can't wait for some range out of the batteries. http://globalmotors.net/all-electric-evx-mustang-and-shelby-cobra/
  18. I once heard a car can be modified or restored many times, but it's only original once.
  19. +2.My Dad has a 1960 Impala 348 Tri-Power car that he's had since 1961.It will be mine and no amount of money could buy that. That's not a car anymore that's a part of the family.I would reatore it and drive it.
  20. It's easier to beg for forgiveness, than ask for permission!Yes,I've done it but wait for her to bring home something expensive without asking you. Then what happens?Well you bought a car without asking me!
  21. Is it Floyd Garret?I remember reading about him when he was putting it together. He had 1 of every color Yenko Camaro.http://www.musclecarmuseum.com/index.shtml
  22. It'll cost him a butload to get a Honda or Toyota Dealership and I am 99% positive with Toyota he will have to buy an existing one.I was Parts Mgr at Lexus Of Dublin for the past 7 years so I know Germain Ford and Chevy are costing them money to keep open, but what domestic isn't right now.
