Hey guys, I need a recommendation on a good, local machine shop for cylinder head work. My spec racer needs a bump from the 9.5:1 compression to 10.5:1 to be competitive in the spring. This equates to about .0245" of mill work done. I'd also like it cleaned up and reassembled. Do you have a recommendation, preferably from someone you've used with the head and engine still in running condition?

I'd call mine "heavily-ish modified" and it's not that bad. It could easily be wrapped around a pole or median but I'm quickly getting a feel for the car at its limit. It's the jtec controller that makes them tricky to tune drivability back into when you start modding hard. The throttle becomes an on/off switch with tire melting power off redline.
