    Rim Repair

Does anyone have a hook up on straighten some steel rims? I have a few Chevy steel rims that are a few wheel weights to get in balance. I remember there was a place Wheel medic, or something like that. I used this place to straigten an aluminum rim on my wife's Volvo and paid $100 for the work. I would think steel rims should be a lot cheaper to straighten(balance).
  9. Too short of notice, the summer time is full of activities. I would be interested if I know at least a week in advance when this is happening.
  10. What is wrong with the engine in it now? If it is the correct/original, you will want to keep or rebuild it. As far as getting running, any vintage (before 85/86 small block, or a 70's will be better) will do. I would try to repair the existing engine though. If you swap engines, it should be a fairly easy swap. You will need to reuse the water pump(I believe this is the short type of water pump) and pulleys to keep things lined up. If any questions, give me a pm, I do vette repairs and restoration work. All else fails, I offer to buy the vette.
  11. Sorry to hear about the situation, the bike can be replaced.
  12. Sounds excellent. 3 Phase stuff is so cheap compared to single phase(CNC, welders, industrial equipment, etc). My dad's shop has a set up similar to what you have done.
  13. I saw this, and I will be there with $$$. I doubt I will find any deals though. I am almost ready to sell the 74.
  14. Looks excellent, and I bet it goes...
  15. Yoke's Autobody in Powell(in the same building as Auto Assets). Paul is a friend of the family. He works on all types and does excellent work. You will notice he does a lot of Porsches and other high end cars.

  17. Scott / Sean, Thanks for asking, but my mustang is not for sale. smile.gif
  18. I have enough cars and enough projects, but this was too good to pass.
  19. 350, its not the L-82 though...
  20. I just picked up a 74 Corvette. It has 79,000 miles and is matching numbers, 4 speed, power steering with air. Here is a picture on the trailer, before I start to clean it up. By way, if anyone is interested in the Cragar wheels which are in excellent condition, make me an offer. I believe the wheels are 15x8's. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v167/RAS69/P6050051.jpg
