  1. Yeah, 10 lifts. I had advertized them on here. I had all 10 of them and sold them all less than 6 months once we had the motor conversion figured out. I even delivered and helped set them up. If I could get another 6 or more I might do it again. I had to drive out to Somest, NJ twice to pick them up, which was about 10 miles from NYC.
  2. I asked a question and then the next post asked the same question. Double post, Dr. Z06, When will your car be done? -Rick

I would drive up to Johnstown, I live outside Galena which is not too far from J-town.
  4. You dont need 3 phase, do I what I did when I bought my 10 lifts a few years ago. I removed the motors and replaced with single phase. You need to find the correct type of motor, shaft diameter, rpm speed. I might still have the part numbers for the motors I used. The new motors were under $200 dollars. Benwil lifts are good heavy duty type of lift. I had/sold 8 Benwills a few years ago. I paid a little less than that also, but that is a good price if you take both of them. I have a Challenger lift presently in my shop, my dad kept one of the Benwil's for his shop.
  5. Thanks Dr Rick for meet. It was nice to meet you and the others I have not met before.
  6. Dr. Rick, I plan to attend, I will not be driving a TT vette. -Rick
  7. I like the GTOs. It sounds like a good deal.
  8. Zack, I saw you guys out tonight, has the work been completed on yours and your brothers? Both cars sounded good....
  9. I do fiberglass work, but I just rebuild/repair corvettes. What type of hood do you have, I would think if you cut holes into it and weld them up correctly, you will not have rust.
  10. I have a 04 Trailblazer for my company vehicle and it is nice. It has the I-6 in it and seems have to plenty of power. Fuel mileage is not great, but I have never keep track of it.
  11. Zack, Sounds like the green GT might be faster than your car in the end, just kidden, I like your GT better. For a muffler shop, I use Stout's up in Delaware. They are priced and fair and do excellent work. Good luck on the mods. Concerning programming, I agree with Rolla, talk to brian at dynotune. He knows mustangs. I am burned out on the car hobby for now, since the accident the the Volvo. Hopefully I get back into it soon, because I have a BB vette to be driving.
  12. Vic's Autobody just repaired my wife's Volvo and did an excellent job.
  13. What type of paint are you going to use, what type of paint gun, etc, need details.
  14. I dont have any spare wheels at the moment, what year of vette did you buy?
  15. If you get it fixed, are you going to Corvettes at Roscoe Village on Sunday?
  16. That is a nice truck. My buddy in Marysville has a 59 fleetside. I cant think which V8 he has in it (327 or 350) but he has a Grand National 200R4 powering the rear wheels and disc brakes on the front. He has been working on it for many years and looks pretty darn good for a 59.
  17. Anyone going? I will be there Saturday with my buds and my boy. I wont be the big spend'r this year. I bought a 74 vette last year that needed some work. I finished the vette but havent sold it yet, so I can't buy another car until the 74 is gone. http://www.ohioswapmeet.com/

I am feeling much better. I had to mow the field before the grass/pasture grows another foot. I am expecting to get the Volvo back this week and then everything should be where it was before. -Rick

Zack, Your stang sounds good, what is your exhaust setup?
  20. I am glad your are enjoying your phone, what model of phone are you using? Orion, BC(Boost-N-Juice) and I thank you.
  21. Nice looking car. If someone would buy my 74 vette, I still am around $16k short.
  22. Well, I have been down for the count since this past Monday. I was driving my wife's Volvo 850 home from work on Polaris Parkway around 5:30 and while I was stopped with the rest of traffic at Worthington road, a nice 23 year in a CRV didnt see that traffic was stopped and rear end me around 45 miles per hour. My wife car was hit in the trunk area so hard that the Volvo was pushed into the car in front of me and that car hit the car in front of it. Needless to say, I was kinda of hot. I have been in pain for the last few days. My back and neck has been hurting and I had visited a doctor and we believe no serious problems. I should hopefully be back to normal in the next few weeks. My wifes Volvo 850 is damaged pretty bad, sorry no pictures yet, I have been busy dealing with the insurance company(the person that hit me) and they seem to be working with me on this. We bought the Volvo in 97 brand new and I have been very meticulous with this and all of my cars. Progressive is the insurance company I have been dealing with and they are going to fix the car. At first they were going to total it out, but I insisted that was not a feasible option. Our Volvo only has 98,xxx miles and you cant find any other 850 for sale without having 300,xxx miles on the clock. I can fix the car but since this is our family car and I dont have 3-6 months to repair this, I am farming this out to Vic's Autobody. I spoke to Byer's Volvo and they referred me to Vic's Autobody. I believe Vic's is the only ceritifed Volvo Body stuff in central Ohio and one of the few in Ohio period. I checked out Vic's shop and spoke to Vic and he seems to run a good shop. My repair estimates are in the $6000 range. I have two other body shops I would use but I choose Vic because most of their work is on Volvos. Does any one have any good/bad experiences with them? I am dropping the car off to them on Monday.
  23. Post the next time there is a $10 test/tune. I want to run the stock 87 vette for a baseline.
