So I had a little bad luck at kilkare on Saturday and some how blew the engine in the vette. When I needed help getting the car back to grove city Mark gave up part of his Saturday to help out. He loaded up his truck and trailer and drove down to kilkare to pick up the car. Thanks again Mark for hauling my piece of junk home, I greatly appreciate you taking time out of your day to help me out.
Yeah the short block in the vette is f**ked. It smashed a plug on number 7 and is locked up. Tried to turn it over and it didn't move. My luck definatley sucks at kilkare.
That's what I was about to say....did something make its way into the cylinder like a washer or small screw/bolt. Reason I say this bc the same thing happened to me last year, had a small allen headed screw come loose on my fuel rail and I didn't see it fall into the head when I pulled the intake. Made a loud ticking sound and I couldn't turn it over by hand.
I love this car, this has to be the nicest Renegade car hands down. Its always fun to watch Joel make a pass in this car because it leaves wheels up and is gone everytime:) Sucks I can't get off work, I would like to see him make a few passes.
Seeing these numbers makes me feel good about the power that my z06 made. Only mods are cam, kooks LTs and magna flow catback and it made 436hp 405 tq. This makes me want to put a good set of heads on it:D
this reminded me of what happen to Dan Wilkerson last year where he sheared the studs off both side on his funny car. Its amazing what a violent case of tire shake can do.
Lady was taken by helicopter to a local hospital where she later died, and i would be affraid to take a pro stock down the left lane with the bumps. I think just about everyone made a move around the 1000 ft mark.
If all goes well at work over the winter i would like to upgrade to a Ysi and crank the boost up. If this happens I would like to go deep into the nines and still be a stick:D Now back to the thread at hand lol.
I would say both combos have their advantages. I like being the underdog so i will stay with my blower. Turbos definatley make good power i'm just more of a blower kind of guy.
