Just did the final once over on the car and looks like its ready. Weather should be nice on saturday, i can't wait.

I use Grundy on the Cobra and it's really cheap for what it is. Just can't take it to the track;) or the store. Just have to use it for a cruiser. Shit, this is DKilbourne posting under this idiots name. Secrets out.

I'll have it ready for the track day for sure, i just hate spending the money for all the gaskets and oil lol.

My bad luck started saturday when i noticed i had pushed out the driver side head gasket on my 86. Replaced sat night and went to the track to make a couple passes. Well the car ran decent but was down like 4mph so i knew something was up. On the 3rd pass my problem showed its ugly face again. I think the pass. side gasket may have been bad also and i didn't catch it sat when i replaced the other on. Anyway, I just want to give a BIG THANKS to Jeff at IPS for letting us use his truck to get my car back home. I also want to thank Mark (Atomicfusion) for letting us use his trailer and Tom from IPS for hauling it. Thanks again for all of your help it made my shitty day a little easier to deal with. -Mike

I have a similar problem so i hope it fixes mine too.

does the single bag keep the rearend fairly parallel with the body right now on your car. From the pictures i have seen of my car lauching, it is not pretty. It squats hard enough to the right that it has actually drug the tire on the inner and outer quarter before.

Thanks for reminding me about the pinion angle, i should probably check that. The rearend internals should be good for now, all strange parts that are new this season.

i'll have it done soon enough, if i could get my 60's down just a little more it would be awesome. So who is all going, it looks like there are only 8 signed up including myself.

Finally picked up a bag for the right side so i'm hoping that will help a little. I'll probably start with the 50's and if the track holds i'll bump it up. I would love to hit it with the 100's but i don't think it will hold. I guess i will have to wait till the 7th and see what the track is like.

cool, and i was just looking at the mr. freeze kit. That is very tempting to try out for $189 plus the retune. Definatley think the car would go well into the 600rwhp range.

Hopefully by beginning of next season it will be running those times or faster with a blower change:D. I also wanted to see if you could up my rev limiter a little so i can spray it. I almost bumped it on wednesday going through at 135.

air quality was great wednesday night, only down fall was by the 3rd round the track was getting a little cold. Car spun really bad and i had to lift.
