ALL OF THEM SOLD! Lock it up!
-
Yep, we did! Good friend of mine Andy Miller.
You do realize he's been working for me for the last year?
-
Hey guys, I'm currently working for Giammarco's in Westerville, and will be opening a new 210+ restaurant, so we're in need of good experienced servers. If you know of anyone, have them please send resumes to andrew.rogish@gmail.com
Thanks again.
AJ
AJ, Did they just hire a new GM there?

i could see myself in a Omega - i really like the look, and I know they are quality.
i will be satisfied with the cl888 i just ordered! cant wait to wear it!
Omega has been high on my list, as well as Hamilton. But, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on something I said previously (on this forum) that I wouldn't do. I just can't seem to pass up a an unbelievable deal.
What is the CL888 in? Do tell?

I have talked with a couple people looking to be under 2k for a used watch. For under 2k I have a hard on for the Oris Carlos Coste Limited Edition. Watch is straight badass! 47mm, 7750 movement, and amazing aesthetics.
check it.
I have seen this and several other Oris models up close several times. The V.P. of Southern Beverage collects them. While they are beautiful, they are far to large for my personal needs. I wear a suit and tie to work every day and need a watch toslip underneath my shirt cuff.
Just a little info to be aware of when spending a wad on a watch. make sure you think about when and where you will be wearing it. Functionality and Art sometimes do not mix well in life.

Well, they like chips. Somehow they found my favorite chips. So as they're eating, I see my daughter sneeze in the chip bag, look around, and then put my chips back where she found them. I know other parents can relate.
*fixed*
Please make sure your kids pay attention is English class. Spelling and Grammar are a terrible thing to waste.
I know other posters can relate.

i could use something mechanical that is used to save some money! if you are selling!
You might look at Poljot. They are a Russian maker that purchased the Swiss caliber 3133 movement dies and tools to make them. I have had a Poljot Blue Angels for 7 years and have had no problems with it. Check eBay for these searching "Poljot 3133".

F that, a true baller would just buy all 4!
I'm fairly sure this thread demonstrates that Dr. Bravo is quite a bit more logical and intelligent than your so called "true baller". Athough, I have seen him rock a solid 24k gold battleship anchor chain at the club.

Please allow me to expound a bit:
I agreed with everything that s15driftking has to say.
MSRP on anything (watch, car, etc.) is a JOKE. You should never pay MSRP! Most here who know me, know that I'm thrifty and NEVER pay retail for anything.
That being said, you should research everything you are wanting to purchase. In the case of watches there are a few easy things to check that make a BIG difference.
1. Case material. What kind of Stainless Steel do they use, and is it solid (or folded as in the case of the band links)? This will tell you a bit about the quality of manufacture, as well as how easily it will scratch and/or look good. In the case of my Invicta Grand Diver, the SS is a quality 316L, and after 2 years of daily abuse, it still looks almost new.
2. Crystal material. If it isn't a sapphire crystal, it will scratch relatively easily. I have had good luck with the new "flame fusion crystal". If you work with your hands, you don't want plastic.
3. Movement: "Swiss Movement" is usually considered the best option, but there are differences. Simply put, most Quartz movements/watches should be considered disposable. it is less expensive to replace the movement, than repair it. Mechanical Movements are generally judged by the number of Jewels, and require service on a regular basis. These are "old school" popular, with the old Swiss movements being highly sought after. Automatics are the most popular right now. Miyota (Japan) makes some workhorse movements that are cheap and accurate, but most prefer the Swiss autos. If you can find out the Movement name/model, you can google it and find out more than you would imagine about it. Complications (Chronograph, Repeater, Power reserve, Moonphase, Ani-Digital) add complexity, and therefore more to go wrong.
Great website for research and pre-owed purchase or trade. It is predominately shopnbc brands, but there are grail brand sub-forums, and many hardcore collectors who love to share their wisdom:

Damnit. Let me know the next time you are making room in your watch box.

Sorry guys, The next watch post is probably going to be the latest addition to the collection. I'm going for a grail watch for a smoking deal. I'm prolly gonna catch shit for it as I said I wouldn't do it in an earlier watch thread.
P.S. It's not a Chronograph!

Happy Thanksgiving you bums!!
Be safe and drive carefully. Try not to get a ticket/DUI, or worse yet in an accident.

+1, I'm still trying to find out why I spent $20k on a single day.
Let me clear this up for you.
She's been planning this since she was 4 years old. The perfect day, the perfect man, the perfect dress, the perfect tux, the perfect hair, the perfect make-up, the perfect limo, the perfect church, the perfect vows, the perfect flowers, the perfect ring, the perfect pictures, the perfect reception venue, the perfect dinner, the perfect first dance, the perfect exit, the perfect honeymoon...........
In summary: So your friends can get absolutely hammered on your dime!
-
I've just looked over all of that right before you posted it. Thanks for the insight!
REMEMBER: The ring you purchase will depreciate at a much larger percentage than a car when you take it off of the property. You can always "up" the ring at an anniversary, but you will lose your ass on a monster rock if things don't happen work out. I'm not being negative, just pragmatic.

....but will the fags dominate the jukebox?

I know the Mercedes hasn't exactly been cheap to maintain. I'd figure the Audi and the BMW are probably in the same ballpark?
You are correct, VERY CORRECT!

30 mins in......I'd rather be watching Golden Girls. What an abomination!
I get to be the first one to say it will be good.and the first one to be WRONG!

You have some experience w/the rotary I assume????
Just a little bit.
My own race-port & stock twins = 11.83 @ 118
My Half bridge-port, GT35R, and custom manifold = Crushed by unlicensed, uninsured motorist.
Almost every FD in Cbus has my work and/or my parts on it.
3 things:
What Map sensor are you using? GM 3-bar?
I would move the intake air temp sensor out from under the manifold, into the elbow or pipe from IC to Elbow, to avoid heat sinking.
Why do you have your boost controlled vacuum tubed y-ed into 2 lines?
