  1. Just a few simple questions. 1. Have you ever lived in Michigan? 2. Have you ever attended UM? 3. Why are you a Michigan fan?
  2. Sit back down, shut up, and take your e-beatings like a good little troll.
  3. You can live in the past. Some of us prefer to live in the present. History doesn't win football games. It'll be a good game regardless. Blue Blows! GO BUCKS!
  4. Most of us, especially the FD owners here, have very little to prove to you, or anyone! Welcome! Mike
  5. Meh! Today's secrect ingredient is........................
  6. What body part are your trying to break this time?
  7. Ya might wanna think about stopping the use of SATAN, TUEFEL, or other devilish names as you might lose a few votes that way. Then again, when the gay porn vid is discovered you might juts hafta reconsider running for any office, except for maybe in California.
  8. 1. I qualify "production" as being manufactured in numbers over 10,000 a year and more than 2% of the general public having ever heard of it. 2/3. I don't recall Tilley, Kevin, Kurt, or any others here locally banging 11's. Low 12's yes, but we all know that it's up to the driver.
  9. Did you come up with this? It's completely rediculous unless you believe a turbo kit, with fuel and ignition, is "one mod" and the ported and blueprinted motor is the other. Name me 3 production cars, under 50k, that'll run 11's with 2 mods? A shitbox 93 Firebird sure isn't one of them. Oh wait, if the "one mod" is dropping an LS1 into a Miata, you may be right.
  10. My wife is scared to death of my "street car" when it was bone stock. Now she wont even ride in it.
  11. Rolla, Here's a reply from Pete: What all exactly is needed? GSL-SE or 12A? Disc rear or drum rear? '84-up (big axles) or '83-down (small axles)? If small axle/drum brake, '79-80 style brakes or '81-83 style brakes? I'll post your answers
  12. Copperhead (Mike Faigley) had one not long ago. I wonder what he did with it. BTW, I may be looking for some body/paint work on my FD very soon. I'll hafta bring it by to have you take a look.
  13. Done, I'll keep an eye on it for you too.
  14. Check with Max7, Eldest Brother, and PaulAber here: http://www.ohiorotaries.com/phpBB2/index.php Looks like the site went down and lost all of the post content. Just post something in the wanted section
  15. My Bad, I should know better than to quote state motor vehicle regulations, and one of the largest insurance companies on the planet, to someone with those kind of credentials! I hereby retract all previously posted information and thus acknowledge that LJ's posts are the Gospel truth. BTW Thank you for what has to be one of the most rediculous things I have ever seen posted here. My Attorney friends will get a chuckle from this nugget of ignorance:
  16. Please tell me you were not an English major "Should have went to FSU instead of OSU..." *shudder*
  17. I worked for a company that was in the glass repair/replacement business. Our insurance would not allow us to do any repairs that were in the direct field of view as it is can be argued in court that a crack, or repaired crack, can be considered an obstruction of view. Now, lets take a look at page 28 of the Ohio Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws: Vehicle Equipment Regulations GLASS "All glass on a motor vehicle must be safety glass, free of discoloration or diffusion, cracks and unauthorized obstructions." I think now I will quit while I'm ahead!
  18. Thank you for your emphatic "Wrong", so let me ammend: Glass companies who understand the legal liability of said repair, will refuse to make a repair that is in the driver's direct line of site.
  19. If you are looking to modify an 1.9 S-series (SL/SC), don't waste your money. The pre-Ecotec engines will not support much. The 2.2 Ecotec introduced in the L-series and Ion have bottom ends strong enough to support 300WHP. Saturn then got the brilliant idea to supercharge the Ecotec, but made it a smaller 2.0 liter version.
  20. From what I read, your crack is on the passenger side?? If a crack or chip is in the driver's direct view, glass companies will not repair it. Even if it is repairable, you will be able to see the crack. I'd just shop around and bite the bullet for a new windshield. Many places now will actually come to your home or work to replace it.
