  2. I don't beleive they make one that strong as it would be likely that you would get your hand crushed between the wratchet and something else when it torqued. There is a Harbor Freight on West Broad, diagonally across frog JEGS.
  3. I could walk you through all of this, but I don't feel like typing for hours. Get a good 3/8 air wratchet and a 1/2 in impact. Get 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, and 1/2 inch wratchets, extensions, and sockets (both regular and deep well). Get sets of gear wrenches, screw drivers, and pliers (channel locks, long needle-nosed, vise grips, etc.). That will be 90% of what you need to work on cars. Impact sockets can be used on hand tools, and regular sockets can be used on air tools (but may crack). In short, you probably could get your questions and more answered and all the tools you'll need, with warranties, at Sears.
  4. Welcome. Are you a "Battling Beaver" Alumnus?
  5. I can hammer a ten inch spike through a board with my penis. No I am not interested in swapping services!
  6. Hey Anthony! Why do your #'s only add up to 90%??
  7. They really need to include Hillbilly and Literacy in the mix. I know far too many born and raised "American" humans who cant even use proper tenses or communicate as well as the, fresh from the south, Mexican immigrants working on the west side. Your Linguistic Profile: 75% General American English 15% Dixie 10% Yankee 0% Midwestern 0% Upper Midwestern

  9. I have been unsuccessful in finding an 99.5 or 00 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro on all the usual internet services. If anyone knows of any for sale within 100 miles, please left me know. Gold color is a no-no, prefer anything but silver but may have to compromise. Have cash, will pull the trigger immediately.
  10. Sent PM Ant! Sorry it got sent twice! Muchas Grassyass!
  11. I'm sorry, but $500+ a ticket is rediculous. I know people will pay it, and that's great if others are making a killing by selling them. I have no problems with that. Yes, I am an alumnus, Class of 1993. I am also a rabid Ohio State fan. I also was born in Texas, but I cannot even imagine spending that kind of money for a game, other than possibly a National Championship game. Yes it can be argued that this could decide the Nat. Champ., but it's not THE game. I'd rather play 18 holes of golf Saturday morning, head down to tailgate @ 1:00, then shoot out to my favorite establishment about 6:30 to watch the entire game, including highlights and other interesting reports, in comfort, with a waitress bringing me what I need, and STILL only spend $200 for the day. AND... not have to fight the traffic out of the campus area, or be in the vicinity of any mayem that erupts after the game. I have contacted a few people that have expressed interest in going to the game, and will get in touch if they are interested.
  12. Heading to Naples Fla at the Four Season's Golf Resort on Monday! I love canoeing the Big South Fork River Gorge from Tenn to Kentucky. Pristene river, no humans. They drop you in at Angel Falls and pick you up 3 days later, 20 miles downstream. I've shot the Class 4 rapids in a canoe 4 times and have yet to be dumped!
  13. Twins were a headache. They spooled great, and had tremendous top end, but they surged at light to medium throttle, and took the everyday drivability away from the car. The new set-up is about a week away.
  14. That, coming from someone who's chipped, pullied, and sprayed 03 Cobra was beaten by a few FDs. So what then? You had to trade up to a cammed, sprayed, Z06 to beat them? Where'd you come up with that Matt?
  15. That would be me, and with luck, that will be me. New set-up, far from where it was last year. The problem with getting RX-7s into the 11's, and below, is all about the weakness of the stock (torsen) differential, and the weaknesses of the person driving it. I believe 2 of us will have answered both those concerns.
  16. That's quick as hell. I don't know if you are paying a complement, or hating? It's all good. There are a couple of local 7's prepping to attempt to bang into the tens in October. OK. The rest of you may now bring on the hate!
  17. Sorry V8 guys, but that's why I drive a 1.3 liter. Oh wait, I have to use 94 octane and get 11 MPG. SONOFABITCH!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna hafta get a part-time job just to be able to afford the gas to drive across town on the weekends.
  18. Not the smartest thing to do, advertising the year and model of your CONVERTIBLE, located in a small town like Circleville, that you are putting a $1500+ video system in. Just some constructive criticism.
  19. I do know that new car dealerships in Ohio only are required to disclose any accident damage or repair that excedes 7% of the price of the vehicle. Sorry about your misfortune.
  20. Clay, I'll be in Naples Sept 13th-18th. Could you point out some good restaurants, cool things to do, etc....
