  1. If one was designed to take a shit ton of torqe, I would put it behind a diesel and give it hell. For gas though, I like to shift my own gears.

  6. So it should all be 5v or 12v. Amperage is going to be all over. I assume this wire pack also houses the main power for the ABS pump? Trace the wires back to see what size fuse is on that circut. Your conector will need to be able to handle the same current as the fuse, so a short would blow the fuse, not melt the conector. causing real major problems. Can you get a list of what the wire sizes are? E.G. 3 18ga, 2 10ga, 4 16ga, ect.

  12. It 80 miles. Its not like moving to florida or something. Hell, you could probably knock that out in just at an hour or less in the cougar...
  13. If you are going to be building a boosted motor, I very highly doubt that the exhaust and intake or cam will be remaining stock peices. The injectors are no where near maxed out on a factory TBI unit. The TBI system comes from the fatory set at ~12 PSI. The injectors have no problem running up to 40 PSI. $30 for the new regulator, spring, and diphragm, your stock 90lb BB injectors are now flowing 150lb+. The 454 units are 50mm bores, good for 700 CFM. If you want, they can be reworked into 54mm bores, and flow 850+ with ease.

  16. Do tell. TBI worked prety well on my 455. Most TBI motors came with a crappy cam.
  17. Limited stopping, or no brakes at all? Check to see if your vac line is conected to your booster, and the line and 1 way valve are free of obstructions.
