  4. hey guys i have a set of hedman 1 7/8 fenderwell headers. they were 689 new at jegs last year but have since droped the price to 590. I have added arp stainless bolts to the kit 39.99 for the bolts and they have the crankcase evac tubes welded in. i used them in the s10 when on spray. they are what got it in the 9s on the 355. awsome header but im going with a long tube in the blazer for easy exh routing. id take 450 obo. pic new http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/myhedmanheders.jpg http://www.jegs.com/i/Hedman-Husler/502/65855/10002/-1# jegs link to these!

  6. ok im doing the camaro up like the pic and the blazer is getting the 11.88:1 pistons and a solid cam with single plane intake and dp holley and one of my nos kits on e85. the camaro will get the full treatment to a new life.! thanks guys i cant ever make up my mind.
  7. ive never been a vega fan. plus i already own the camaro and blazer. with the 3"3" drop on the blazer new tires and wheels with a 350 and 700r4 the way it sits ive got 2200 in it. just got the pistons for it for 50. and i have two solid cams. all else i need is a limited slip diff for the 7.5"10 bolt. it has 3.73s now. if the blazer gets its motor done would have about 2700 in it total. for a fun driver thats real nice.
  8. wich ever one gets the stock 350 with small power mods. will be a driver. the other another race/streetable car.
  9. 14 for camaro 9 blazer looks like the camaro gets the 9sec 355 with spray and th 400. the blazer will get the stock 355 with wpeedpro 11.5:1 pistons and a solid cam. intake and carb

  11. hey guys help me decide my winter project. i have a 82 s10 that went 9.90s with a 355 and spray. i converted it to turbo so i have a 9sec motor sitting waiting to go into something. i have a nice blazer that needs no body work already has a 350 in it or a 3rd gen camaro that has some rust issues and needs body work. wich would you put the 9.sec motor into. i plan on putting a set of 11.5:1 pistons and a cam with intake and carb in the motor thats in the blazer now. its bone stock 79 350. the blazer and camaro wont be tubbed like the truck. i can get a 9" rear for the blazer with 35spline axels for 670. im plannin on swaping the s10 to a glide so the th400 with brake and 4500 stall 8" tci converter will be with the nos motor. i have fenderwell headers and long tubes for the blazer. no headers for the camaro. i have a spohn tq arm and trannymount and adj pahnard bar for the camaro and its already gutted for the cage. the blazer is not. its full stock interior and its nice. too? if you already had a 8sec s10 would you do the camaro or blazer this http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/14.jpg or http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/SANY0535.jpg this wichever one gets the nos motor the other is getting the stocker with bigger pistons and small cam.
  12. thats prety low boost for low 8s awosome. wish i could go low 8s on 16lbs.
  13. thats cool . nice power for a 85mm and intercooler id say that car has a high 8 in it.

  15. brians sensor and my truck both show 15. at the track on 9lbs spring it shows 9 and with the 15 lb spring it shows 15. always. the only tee that could melt is inside the dash the outside tee is a anfitting tee
  16. wg line and fpr are 1/4"id line bov is 1/4 and retard box and boost gauge are 1/8th teed
  17. it spools instantly. if i get in it in 3rd and roll its full boost by 4000 same as dyno. im plannin on trying ur dyno. but brian gave me a deal. i was sleaping friday when i planned to come there damn third shift. i can take the gate off and bring it to test it. im moving some lines arround today. will be putting the 4.56s back in to get it in the 1.25 range 60ft. hell with the new tight converter it might go quicker yet. the whole thing is at the track and street i read 9lbs dyno 15. then right back to 9lbs on the street.

  20. i was thinking it would see less never more than the 9lb spring. not on that large a gate. tank we can deff do that. its in the bonnett id doubt its see a presure drop within the 1'pipe to the bonnett. it is teed off of the boost refrence for the regulator. my boost gauge was the exact same port as brians and shows the exact same 15lbs on the dyno and 9 on the street.?? tial couldent explain it at all. they said with a 9lb spring on my low hp setup it should be wide open and not see 15 ever unless its not seeing full presure. ill drill the turbo and tap it tomorow when im putting the 4.56 back in. its always spooled very fast on the street too. evan on a 30mph roll in third. but only 9lbs. maybe the gate is sticking and not opening fully
  21. the gate is right betweent the two charge pipes for the turbo. and its soruce is the carb bonnett above the carb. if im seeing 15 lbs then the gate is proable seeing more closer to 18. im shure the presure above the carb is higher than at the boost gauge port below it.
  22. its plumbed off the manifold and the retard and boost gauge are teed in the truck phnumatic push style hose. ill drill the adaptor and tap it for two new outs. one straight to boost gauge and one to retard. leaving one to bov im calling tial today. any amout of load. or no load the wg should open at 9lbs because the spring. it should vent anything more and keep the turbo spooling the same. i could see a overboost if its too small a wg.

  24. Yes i would try a mustang dyno id like to try the one that lets u pull all 3 gears!
