  1. 67s are too small for 1500 hp motor. unless you push them outside the good part of the map. look at shons wagon. twin 70s and high9s low 10s on a big block with 13 lbs. his car is heavy and he can make more boost. if your serious about the 1000 whp goal and 1500 motor. id say no less than twin 72s. on e85 its more important than ever got to stay in the compressor maps most effeciant part. and will allow lowerboost and make the same power as a67mm
  2. the idea is to get zero deflection. so rod end. but on the street they where veryfast and are noisy. i would recomend you go with a adj type lower with poly ends. stiffer than a stock rubber but not loud like a rod end. if you do a ajd tq arm you need the adj lowers. a small pinion angle change can do wonders. I have spohn adj tq arm and tranny mount, adj panhard bar for my 89 camaro and im plannin on getting the ajd lowers offset. all with rod ends. i want the full drag race suspension noise dont matter, it has no sound deadner either just carpet.

  4. thanks for the pics awsome. i need someone with good camera skills and somone good at camcorders. i want to go back with the 4.10s and get my 8s pass on 9lbs. then swap gears back from 4.10s to 3.90s and run 15lbs. shooting for 8.50s on 15 lbs. it will proably be at norwalk or kilkare with the chute.

  6. well it should run better than before. so who was shutting down at half track and whay does it matter. ?? i know i was. trying to go slower than 10.000 so i would run 1/8th and hit the brakes hard. but i dont have my chute mounted yet, or window net plus i need a door bar and 8.50s cert and license. but it did go 9.19 on the only 1/4 pass. my motor is 8.4:1 and pump gas. and 357" we will race when yours is done.
  7. they are the same. the 14b has larger wheel. just get a 16g and b done with it. u can pick up a new one for 500. and its new. so long service life
  8. orient is good place too. im not a fan of columbus. just living there. Rob does your for run right now and you can race it if not then the fastest thing u have is your truck and im right. and he said he lived in grove city not me. and the 1050 sound right. i dont care if a 460 revs to 4500. if its makin power a 830 is deff too small. and i shifted the 355 at 7400-7800. and the math shows a 830 would be perfect. but it wanted more id bet it went faster on a 1050.

I always love it when someone complains about a place they live but are too big a pussy to move. and grove city is way better than columbus. and there are plenty of fast cars in grove city just most on the board are too slow to catch them. Now what!
  12. wow. reading must own me. cause last i checked i told you my 355 wouldent run with anything less than a 850 and i ran it with a 950. and you just upgraded your badass ford with a 830 from a 750. damn that thing must have been making at least 350 hp. wow! ill give it some credit maybe it made 351hp the fastest car you own is your truck! tell me im wrong
  13. Why u runnin a 750 on a 460 my 355 wouldent run with a 850. wow U always talked like ur mustang had 700hp at least

  15. mine is a street car too! and e85 is the best fuel by far. but dont use it i like my 2.16 a gal price. you will gain some wheel speed with the smaller housing but it might throw you into tire spin faster. it deff will kill some of the turbos top end but unless ur runnin it at peak boost now you wont notice a power loss. maybe 5hp or so with a faster spool. if u think it will hook id say go for it exh housings are cheap.
  16. thanks to my friend shon i now have a set of 4.10s to reclame some 60ft and try again for my 8 sec pass on 9lbs. im hoping i can get my 60 ft back to a 1.27 or a little better to a 1.25

  19. i set the pic as my background thanks for the good pic. we were goin too but he had to get up to norwalk and left about the time i had a decent baseline for the day. he deff has more mph than me in the 1/4 but he is at a lot higher boost level. i dont think my 147 is the fastst it will go on 9lbs. but it might b. it would have been a damn evan race i can tell ya that.
  20. made 8 passes just takin my time tried a little jet change 10 jets to see if it would get too rich and it did et and mph fell. went back to same jet right back where i was. All runs on 9lbs best 1/8th mile1.335 60 ft 5.857 1/8th at 118.8. only and last pass full quarter 1.333 60ft 5.877 60 ft and 9.19 at 147. think it leaned out in third and wasent pulling any rpm at all. i was running all day in the 1/8th in first and second gear only. needs more gear with the tighter converter. i have a friend letting me try a 4.10 gear hopefully that will propell my 60fts back to 1.2 range and high 8s on 9 lbs of boost. there is video of it on you tube im told. under matthew crosby and 82 s10 i think havent seen them yet congrats to everyone. id have to say that the track prep was ok. must have been doin something cause last time i droped from 1.33s to a 1.44 60 ft. and couldent better that.

  23. dont put slicks on the neon ull break a diff or axle and we will have to wait for a cleanup and you will have to pay a clean up bill. thats just all bad!!!! jk
