  1. ray got a friend with a 4th gen and wants to do a setup like yours can you pm me with any info on it. i believe his is a 2000. but i could b wrong.
  2. i predict if i go to 15 lbs. ill have the fastest pass of the day for cr! but my goal is still high 8s on only 9lbs. and i think im there. rearend gear might kill me now.
  3. at what tire height? im thinking with the new tight converter ill be able to run more gear. im hoping a 4.30. but im asking arorund. what rpm does it turn in the lights.
  4. im goin to change the converter need to test it out any way. and the new carb setup. Ray what rear gear do you run and what rpm at the trap?? right now im on 3.90s and sliping past the converter with 32" slick. i turn about 6800 at the trap and shift at 7000. im thniking of changing gear. i have 4.56s but i think evan with a tight converter they wont go 160 at 7000. im thniking of goin to 4.30s. to get back the 60ft.

  7. ray u want a piece with the low 9s setup so far on 9lbs boost or the meaner setting. 15lbs and unknown 8s at trails? im still debating the 15lb spring im gunning for a 8.90s pass with the 9lb spring i think i can get it there. need to get the new converter in soon.

  12. mine is 1gen sbc not lsx. id say outside of marks 9.04 he would be the fastest ive heard of. either way low 9s are great times congrats.

  16. id go to norwalk but if its 4.50s in the 1/8th i dont stand a chance. im thinking at best i could go 5.40s. maybe pushing it 5.30s. far cry from 4.50s. hopefully they show up to test and tune then i can decide? only problem is weather to swap gear now or wait.

  18. im trying to think if i should test and tune for king of columbus or just for fun. its 1/8th. i think they would let me run. i have a chute for the truck but wouldent need it. i could mount it but not pull it. i think if i go to the 4.56s i could run 1/8th at about 5.40-5.50 range . i know thats not the fastest. but do you think i could qualify with that and maybe go a few rounds.???

    its all good but i really would like to see the camaro with 30,000 worth of improvement. id bet it would be bad ass i know my own personal one will proably end up with another 357sbc carb and e85. proably a 106mm charger just another slow car built by me. and headers by ips im hoping when its done to have less than 30,000 in it and running at least 7s. s10 already runs 8s. so shuldent b hard

    the main thing is. how much is the evo? 35,000 36,000. id be willing to bet if he had that kind of money for his pos camaro. it could out drag, and out corner the evo. dollar for dollar not to say u cant do bolt ons to make a evo faster. lee howies is quick.the ips evo is quick. but none are as cool as the rusty camaro project.

    i thought a mullett was more of a late 70s early 80s cut. all the metal hair bands had full hair no mulletts. im confused. my spohn mount is for a th400 though ud have to buy the newly rebuilt tranny. i might have to nix the hole drag camaro and buildt a scca road car. kinda wana kick some import tail. at mid ohio sounds fun. jk ill stick to drag cars that run fast and drive on the street. everyone like to pick on new and old peoples projects. but they are projects for a reason. they need work and thats why they are fun and cool. unlike a car that is all bolt ons. hard to make it yours.

    i got a spohn tq arm and tranny mount \and panhard bar for your camaro. i got them for mine but the blazer is taking my time now. so will be a while before i need them if you wantt o go with a th400 i have a newly rebuilt one for my camaro that im not planin on using and it shifts into park.

    i love it. my s10 didnt look much better or my blazer or camaro. keep at it and make it quick enough to kick every pretty cars ass. thats what id do real cars have rust.!!!!
