id like the hjc large helmet. im gona go to ask tomorrow and see what size i need.
  3. how much for the stock rockers? im gona do the trunion upgrades to them and thats all. anthony what pushrod length u run with the cam? proably wouldent need the ls6 springs since this cam is larger. id like a dual spring kit since its for boost. looking arorund patriot, lunati, prc have some. comp has the 918 but id like a lil more seat pressure for boost.
  4. dan im gona get a ati dampner for the crank since the stockers like to fly apart. and i want the 25%underdrive anyone got a good stock alt. and relocation brackets.
  5. ill check my racer price on the head bolts at jegs and see what they run deff need the rockers, valve covers i dont know what they go for. 20 bucks i really liked the cams specs would work good na and turbo, not too big to beat the shit out of the springs, and the stock rockers would work just fine and stay reliable. what would u want for that stuff anthony
  6. Anyone have a extra set of 317 heads?
  7. I'm proably not running ps either how much for head bolts?
  8. Prove that that car with 720whp can actually run a number in the single digits!
  9. Purple looks good on a small truck. This is what I wana do http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/89%20Chevy%20Camaro%20build%20up/82chevycamromydreamcar.jpg But a 4th gen is a ton less work
  10. Well I've had 3 3rd gens 2 89 s10 v8 blazers a 89 s10 extended cab v6 and my 82 s10 long bed plus my 4th gen now. The 3rd gens have the largest interior so more room with a cage. The s10 blazer is very roomy too but has the same short door wich makes it hard to get in with a cage. But I can do swingout door bar too. I'm gona keep looking and keep finding parts for the ls motor. Hopefully once its built I will have found the right home for it.
  11. I have some mis parts I need and I'm shure someone has them lying arround. I need a set of stock ls1 valvecovers Stock good coils with brackets truck coils work too And the front serp setup don't need ac brackets or alt since I'm running no ac and top mt alt. Could use a alt relocation bracket kit but one that uses stock alt Stock alt Stock waterpump that's good of course Pulleys Edelbrock vr jr intake 4bl style for elbow Good used valvesprings for a 228 230 .588 114 cam xer lobe cam Anything I'm forgetting just let me know what u have! So far I have 6l block crank rods pistons Swapping rods pistons and going to .030 bore. 317 heads I'm going to port. I have front cover. Rear cover. Valley cover. Lifter trays. Lifters And more I'm shure I'm forgetting Also need bolts for everything.
  12. I don't know yet what size ill end up at. Just gather parts and ideas . Part at a time.
  13. If u ever came to the track u wouldent need to see a slip! Now get a damn rear in that car and leve on the brake and prove me wrong!
  14. I've ran many 8.90s on 15psi uve went 10.29 1 time I 60 ft a 1.27 60 on 15yr old slicks u 60ft a what 1.65 And I'm the one why is slow and can't hook? And this isint spellin class
  15. U also wouldent build anything fast either. 8.89 153>10.29 133 I don't always build slow as cars but when I do I tell everyone I'm fast! "Stay slow my friend" dossuckies
  16. Ill need a set of 96lb inj soon. Can I keep em
  17. Have u ever saw the one on theturboforums. Made 1260wheel 421"gen1 101mm driver think he went bottom 8s on that setup. Meansbc is his name on there brent cambell is his real name. His 2nd gen is bad as hell and on u tube
  18. Never been a 2nd gen fan I do like the split bumper 70 if its done right. I can still do a turbo ls swap in the blazer too. Wich blazers hook like crazy but still would be a lil small inside with a cage
  19. well I'm selling my 89 v8 s10 blazer and want to build a car. Something with more room inside and fun. I want something I can get in and drive whenever but still run a good number somewhere in the single digits. My original plan was to modify my 02 camaro with a 370" turbo setup and keep the t56. But I also want to keep it as my daily driver from summer to fall. So I can build a truck manifold 4th gen turbo kit or one with ac. Or I can do a 3rd gen camaro ls swap turbo setup. Pros: 4th gen Proably no or little rust Millions of ls parts Already a ls Already have a new bmr turbo k member Already have subframe connectors weld in Already have a spohn panhard bar A th400 swap is just a spacer Cons: needs a aftermarket tq arm Pros: 89 camaro Not a ls so all kinds of engine bay space Rad sits upright easily Already have a spohn th400 trans mount tq arm combo with ds loop Cons: Would need all 4th gen wiring for the fi setup. Swap k member w rack conversion A different hood And some interior work Proably more money for a rust free car than a 4th gen Proably heavier Both need a moser 9". Shocks strus. And some odds and ends So which would u do? Money is tight so will be a low budget build at first and progress slowly. I really like the looks of a clean 3rd gen. This is what I want but a 4th gen makes more sense cause its already a ls platform.
  20. awsome job man great build I deff like this more than the honda. That car would look got with some hot rod black paint
  21. I have a sperco 32x12.5x3.5" with a side in out and front in out I paid almost 1000 for it from turbonetics its 2.5" in out I was going with a t72 bb turbo and it was built for that turbo. Id take 300 if it would work for u.
  22. Mine was a alignment issue with having to run a v belt. If I could have used a serp belt with it would have rocked. The reg cog drive belt they use should never move. I like cable drives there is a dude on theturboforums with a puke green nova ls swap with one id see what he uses. Ill try and find a screenname but get on and search cable drive and u should find it.
