My grandparents had an Abyssinian. She was cool as hell. Little cat, but a climber. She spent very little time on the floor, and would walk around 3 sides of the room using bookcases, tables, and chairs when she could, rather than touch the ground. AWESOME jumper, she'd get head high with ridiculous ease.

If you have serial numbers for the electronics, turn them over to the cops. IIRC, pawn shops have to check serial numbers before they can put up electronics for sale. It's a hell of a longshot, but WTF.

OK, very specifically, my Dad has this old Stanley 1/2 ratchet with a rocker-style direction switch. It's the easiest ratchet to switch with your hand deep in the guts of a car. It's also the toughest damn thing I've ever used. Lugnuts, wheel hub nuts, hell, I've had a 4 foot helper pipe on that thing, practically jumping on it, and it isn't even worn. Meanwhile, I've exchanged his 1/2 Craftsman 4 times in about ten years. Gotta love a tough tool...

On the other hand, I don't think we have to worry about him doing 108 in the Cutty...

Oh, snap... Actually, I think he might be right...a Camaro is supposed to give you a bigger dick, but I don't see how it possibly can with those droopy little things...

Toyota Starlet. RWD and a SHORT wheelbase.....wheeee!!! -
"The Sixth Sense" was extremely good. The best plot twist since, "Luke....I AM your father...." "Unbreakable" rocked. Probably the best hero movie ever made. "Signs" was another good one. I liked the way he kept the movie tightly focused on his characters, and didn't go off into an "Independence Day" FX extravaganza. Plus, the alien in the corn pretty freaked out half the theater. "The Village" was....eh. Good performances and well shot, but for some reason it just didn't work. "The Lady in the Water" just dragged.

But also a bit cumbersome to carry on a diving belt, or wield when you are wearing 80lbs of tanks and weights... X2 on the ice-pick idea, except that a tube wouldn't be as strong as that knife blade.

Why do these people feel they need to open there yaps.

Oh, BTW, bud. The biggest problem isn't just new cases, but appeals, where a new law can affect an old conviction, but they can't do anything so unconstitutional as changing the charge to reflect the change in the law. -

Why would it make a difference? I have no problem with people going to church, no objections to your lifestyle. I made my decision about whether I wished to follow any religion long ago, and see no reason now to revise my decision. If you think I've never been to church, never read the Bible, you're very wrong. I think many of the stories in various religious texts offer good advice on how to live your life(although just as much of it is useless twaddle like Leviticus, Genesis, and Revelations), and I respect people who keep to their faith and stand up for their rights to believe as they wish. Where that respect ends is with people like you, who think that their way is the only RIGHT way, and believe that their beliefs should be forced on everyone else through the force of law. -

Well, glad I made some kind of impression on you finally. I'm not the small minded bigot advocating discrimination against a pretty large chunk of the American population. Nor am I the one saying that somebody else's choice of lifestyle -which harms me not a bit- is wrong, immoral, or evil. I'm foul? Dude, you REEK of hatred and fear. -
Here's one for you, why the fuck do riders insist on making the right on red just after the light turns green for me? Three times in the past week I've had some stupid fuck on a rolling vibratorpull out in front of me as I'm pulling away from the fucking light. PAY ATTENTION TO THE FUCKING PEOPLE AROUND YOU. As a motorcycle rider, YOU are the exception, the odd man out on the road. Why should I be constantly looking for somebody doing something stupid on a tiny little speck like that, lost among the rolling behemoths that I'M on the lookout to keep from getting run over by? I watch out for trucks, you watch out for me.

A little rubbing alcohol or Goo-Gone will take it off the rubber.

You stupid shit, do you have any idea of the harm that law has done to HETERO people? How about the fact that that law is interfering with the domestic violence laws that up til it passed, protected women regardless of whether they were married? Now some fucker can knock around his live-in girlfriend, and he can argue that that law means that it isn't domestic violence because that would be giving the woman the protection of a marriage-like arrangement. It HAPPENED. It has NOT been fixed, and until that law is modified or overturned, woman-beaters will continue to get away with it because of narrow-minded ass-holes like you. Or how bout this? Two options, either marriage is a purely religious ceremony, and the U.S. and State governments have no right to regulate it in any manner, OR it IS a state institution, and since the objections you raise are religious in nature, the state has no right to apply your morals to a legal contract. Either way, you continue to illustrate your backwards, small-minded, puritanical stupidity. Please die. -

I was just getting onto 670 from Grandview when it started raining. Traffic was already bad, but when the real stuff hit, it just completely and utterly stopped. I was maybe 10 feet back from a truck, and could BARELY see his brake lights. Brand new trailer with LED bulbs too. Some poor bastard was stopped under a bridge with his Harley. It was NO help, the rain was SPRAYING all the way under the bridge it was hitting so hard.

To be fair, once the front wheels were off the ground, all he could do was think, "Number One......the Larch."

CCAP is not worth it. Woody's has a fair number of vehicles, usually late 80s to mid 90s, but they jam the cars in so tight some can't be accessed. Edison usually has a lot of cars, but is MUDDY and there doesn't seem to be any organization beyond "Cars left, minivans right". They also seem to get the "weird" stuff more than other yards. PnP is still the best though.

Those little bastards actually did for a fair number of Nazis...two or three guys walk up to Nazis on guard duty, bang, bang, pick up rifle and ammo, run like hell...

Can somebody post pics? I decided a while back that I'd had enough of ClubBS and got myself banned so I wouldn't accidently fund them by having their ad-heavy site come up on a renamed link... -
Tap water, unless I'm driving for a long trip or a day at work. Then occasionally I'll buy a bottle. But here's one for you, even at current prices, a gallon of bottled water still cost almost three times as much as a gallon of gas. Also, we have the purest drinking water supply in the world, and yet we buy more bottled water per capita than any other country...a miracle of advertising creating perceived need...

You make my head hurt. First off, how do you pay off a huge debt? YOU RAISE TAXES. Where the fuck do you think the money is gonna come from? Second, how the fuck do you get off saying Clinton didn't go after Osama? He ordered Bin Laden's camp destroyed by cruise missile. They missed Osama by LESS than five minutes by pure chance. HE HEARD THE FUCKING MISSILE HIT THE CAMP HE'D JUST LEFT! That's far closer than they've been since 9/11 to getting his ass. Tell you what, you want to talk about Middle East history? Who was it that set up the Taliban in the first place? George H.W. Bush, as CIA Director under Reagan. BTW, you know how the Bushes made their fortune? They had business relations with the Bin Ladens, AND the Saudi royal family... And before ANYONE argues with that, LOOK IT UP. It's not a conspiracy theory, it's not an accusation, it's not propaganda, it's documented FACT. We're in the mess that we are now due to policy decisions that were made under REPUBLICAN Presidents. You want another one?
