  1. I love the idea of the car but $40k+ for a Fusion is paint-lickingly insane. They'll be available for $25k within a year.
  2. In that case, RS6, maybe try to import an Avant for maximum awesomeness. EDIT: Oh totally forgot, it'll be higher price range but if there are any used available at that time, the Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk aka Hellcat SUV.
  3. IMO not the best, but they're open later than anyone else around here, they deliver beer, their entire menu is above average (esp. their subs) and my fiancée likes their salads. May not be the best, but it checks every box I need. We do live walking distance from Meister's Bar though, and their deep dish is soooooooo damn good.
  4. Will be on the high side of the price range, but I bet you'll be able to find an RS7 or at least an S7 by that point.
  5. Grandad's pizza in Grandview delivers beer with pizzas.
  6. I've had a BMW motorcycle key cut at the Ace Hardware on W 5th in Grandview, worked flawlessly from day 1.
  7. Really nice looking bike, and a great starter bike for someone with a budget who wants to get on a Harley.
  8. I love cities. I lived in the heart of Boston for 4 years, 2 of which were in Kenmore Square (2 blocks from Fenway). I was in a serious relationship with a girl from the Bronx for 2 years, spent many weekends visiting friends in NYU, and overally truly love NYC. I would never live there for more than a year, and even that would just be some sort of Kerouac-esque experience in the concrete jungle rather than me trying to make a real life for myself there. It's not the rudeness, nor the pace of everything. It's just that everything there just sorta sucks more than everywhere else in America. The only thing that it really offers is a taste of everything within walking distance, and the opportunity for everyone to come disappear and be nobody.
  9. This Also, vaseline on the wiper blades...but that might count as manslaughter down the road :lolguy: I like the idea of leaving cat food around the cars, train animals to seek them out. If he ever leaves a Wrangler (aka can open the hood w/o getting inside the car) drop a dead fish in the engine compartment. I've always said you never mess with a man's car...however, if they're the dealership's cars, that's another story.
  10. I had something similar happen with a 15 year old dryer 2 years ago. Got a soldering kit and resoldered a bunch of blown out connections on the board, hasn't had a hiccup since. most of the problem with fixing this type of stuff is getting over the mental blockades rather than actually acquiring the knowledge and skills
  11. Sorry, didn't see this post til just now. I have a pretty huge head and they fit me well. I haven't got a fitted hat in a long time but I was about a 7 3/4-7 7/8 hat.
  12. http://dudeism.com/ Join the church. Or don't. Whatever makes you happy, man.
  13. They have a tiny, hard-to-see scorpion on the bottom of the left lens, they are the "Abarth Edition" from a few years ago. Other than that they're pretty basic Oakley Gascans. Worn a dozen times under a motorcycle helmet. Good-very good condition, $50. http://i.imgur.com/JthJmxXl.jpg
  14. A few ideas from getting hockey stink out of hockey gear (one of the worst stinks known to man): As always, test on a hidden portion of the fabric to make sure there's no permanent damage before going to town on the main areas. If you're able to identify the specific problem areas with your nose, get some rubbing alcohol or white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray the affected areas. That will kill the bacteria causing the smell. Steam cleaning is great for stains, horrible for smells because it recycles the stank water and many detail places do NOT properly clean their extractors because they're so busy. Vinegar will, yeah, make your car smell like salad dressing for a while. However, that smell will dissipate and break down MUCH faster than puke smell, especially seafood puke smell. As I said before, just make sure you test a patch of fabric before going to town on the entire seat.
  15. I'm in Columbus, but if you need an officiant in a pinch I'm licensed to officiate marriages in Ohio. Am a Dudeist Priest (Church of the Latter Day Dude), so not a real religion. It would be my second time officiating, first time went very well (according to the couple and their families). I'd do it for the cost of gas to get me up and back...plus maybe a drink or two.
  16. Haven't read the books, but I wonder if there's a reason beyond what has been stated as to why Jamie killed the Mad King...maybe he found out about a relationship between the Mad King and his mother...I hadn't thought of that til now.
  17. I'm glad they've done it like this mostly; they've gotten so deep into so many stories there really isn't enough time in 60 minutes to do each story line justice. Between Dany being taken to Vaes Dothrak (with Jorah and Daario chasing), Tyrion and Varys running Mereen, No One being in training, the Sansa/Theon/Brienne/Pod escape squad, Ramsay doing Ramsay things, Lannisters doing Lannister things while dealing with the Sparrows, the clusterfuck at Castle Black, and now the reintroduction of Bran's storyline, I'm glad they're dedicating more to each story in alternating episodes rather than trying to cram a 6-minute segment about every single story into every single episode.
  18. I'm glad they alluded to it with his story to the dragon about how he wanted one when he was just a boy
  19. When Roose mentioned the term "Mad Hound" it reminded me of something, I can't remember where I read it but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a specific nod to something with that reference. I've gotta believe that with the impending problems in House Greyjoy, the existing (and now compounded) issues with House Frey, and the soon-to-be massive issues in Winterfell with the Bolton/Stark families that there is going to be quite the clusterfuck this season.
  20. Yeah cuz everyone who gets drafted makes the opening day roster :dumb: mfw people knock a team for addressing areas of need :lolguy:
  21. Honestly there haven't been many 1.4L Turbo issues that haven't been related to idiots poorly modifying their cars. Our experiences with them have been very good. Keep in mind that sub-200hp is also on a car that weighs under 2500lbs. I won't argue that a Camaro or Mustang will provide a hell of a lot more horsepower, space, etc for the same price, but no one can argue it'd be the same driving experience. Most importantly, the Abarth version starts at $28k and has a proper mechanical LSD standard along with a tiny hp bump. Mazda is seriously pissed about this car. They expected this to be priced stratospherically higher than the MX-5, but with 46 more lb ft of torque at almost half the RPM of the Mazda powerplant, I think the FIAT is going to be stiff competition for the average driver. I doubt the FIAT will outperform the Mazda on the track though, it's designed more as a grand tourer.
  22. Could be that they specifically DON'T want to sell it; keep it on the lot, use it to generate excitement and sales for more readily available models, but if some dingus wants to take it off their hands for that price, sure why not sell it for $80k over sticker. It's also WAY easier to refuse test drives/keep away tire kickers when you have it priced out of the market.
