anime: japan's answer to the atom bomb

you know, if you look at it historically, the U.S. was definitely going to win the war in the Pacific; we had devoted more than half our Navy and almost all the USMC to the Pacific theater, but despite that if it hadn't been for Truman's INCREDIBLY brave decision to drop the bomb there would have been millions more casualties, both military and civilian. People often forget about the Second Sino-Japanese war because it was so far from the U.S. and because the only struggle we were concerned with in China was supporting Chiang Kai-shek in his attempts to defeat Mao. But what if we hadn't dropped the bomb and the Sino Japanese war had carried on with the same ferocity of the Rape of Nanking? What if we had to invade mainland Japan where, according to their beliefs, nearly every citizen would have been obligated to take up arms against us to defend the Emperor. The idea of a diefied emperor seems so far back in history for us, but for Japan WWII is where it ended BECAUSE we dropped the bomb instead of attacking them head on. Just a bit o slightly biased history for you fellaz.

I could never fuck a girl any younger than my sister (17), that shit would just creep me out. You gotta think, every girl (ok not every, but for my point...) is someone's sister. On the other hand, I wouldn't care if any of my friends was with my sis cuz she's goddamn old enough to make her own decisions, and she'd tell me if there was a problem with anyone. Lucky for me, she hates most of the guys that try and get with her. Funny story: family vacation in the British Virgin Islands, we're getting drunk and hangin with a bunch of people at this bar, and this 40-somthing dude comes up to me and says "man, you're pretty lucky to be gettin a piece of that" and points to my sister. it wasn't like we were hangin off each other, we just walked in together and were playing pool against a honeymooning couple, so the guy just assumed. Instead of jacking him in the face like 90% of my friends woulda done, I just told him straight up "dude thats my sister". So he paid for all my drinks the rest of the night.

Yeah, for sure. I had the brakes smoking on a TSX going around Mid-Ohio cuz I was too hard in on turn 7, but yeah....wouldn't want to try that in a near two-ton car.

not many places I can remember in cbus that have a dance floor and are still good to eat. my favorite place to eat is Spaggio, but I work for Brio/Bravo so I guess I should plug that. Also, La Scala is where I took my ex for a 2 year anniversary, and Barcelona was for our 3 year. I'd recommend Barcelona because they're well known for their delicious desserts, and the way womenfolk react to chocolate you'll be putting that suite to good use faster than you can say "we'll take the check," take my word for it.

I agree with the shaky camera thing sucking, but the apartment fight scene with Desh was fucking awesome. There were some parts where I wondered what was going on, but for the most part I thought it was cool. However, I also agree that some of the parts were a little extraordinary, like when he jumps an oldass heavy motorcycle over a 6 foot wall by simply launching off a broken piece of curb...booooo. Still, I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
