  1. So I could spend $600k to do 0-60 in 3 seconds in a car that no valet on Earth would put in a front spot... Or I could get an F12 Berlinetta for a bit under $400k and have a car that will have a classically beautiful look for years to come, do 0-60 in 3.1 seconds, actually be a pleasure to drive, and not make everyone think I'm suffering from glaucoma at age 30.
  2. Thanks for the advice! I have been getting a bit handier. My pops was never much with a wrench so I didn't have that experience growing up, but as I've gotten older I've just tinkered more and more. I just gotta get insurance on this thing and get it down to Columbus, but I have a small attached garage that would be ok to work in, I appreciate the offer to help!
  3. It's just more of the "it's everyone's fault but mine" mentality. I hope the guy recovers enough to find his way to a prison, but not enough that he can protect himself. Fucking POS.
  4. You should name them Auburn and Bama. EDIT: And call your bed the Iron Bowl
  5. Yeah Indycar was able to fly his wife and daughters out but TS arranged his jet to get JW's brother and maybe some others there. The article I read suggested that this is not the first time TS has flown people around in emergencies but due to the high profile nature of this issue a lot of drivers thanked him publicly and brought it to the media's attention. Not to get OT entirely but I still feel bad for TS, I think he's a good guy haunted by the Ward accident. Sucks that Ward's family is suing him too, I honestly don't believe TS did anything wrong. I suppose it's only slightly off topic, since whenever this happens we look back at all the racers whose lives have been lost at the track. Every time it happens it feels as though it's an aggregate event, we're not just mourning JW, we're mourning Jules, Dan Wheldon, Ayrton, Roland Ratzenberger, Dale Sr, Scott Kalitta, etc etc etc.
  6. This has been a tough year for IRL between this and the aero package debacle at IMS.
  7. Do you want to be like Caitlyn Jenner? http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/investigators-recommend-jenner-face-manslaughter-33210318 Don't be like Caitlyn Jenner.
  8. Another vote for Ticknor's. I go to Jos. A Bank for cheap and Ticknor's for service. Side note but I ended up dating the stepdaughter of a guy from Ticknor's who sold me my suit for a little while :lolguy: he's not there anymore though.
  9. When I get Chinese student customers I always know it's a good day. There will be language barriers. There will be strange questions. But at the end of the day, they are no-nonsense negotiators, they don't lie, and they never have any trouble paying. Good luck, hope your experience is the same as mine.
  10. FWIW most people I know who DD a Porsche went in with the same skepticism and now they say it's the best DD sports car out there.
  11. Buddy of mine looking for a wagon but let me see if I can talk him into this.
  12. Putting on some glasses to look like Jared doesn't count as a costume if you're already a child molester :gabe:
  13. Friend of mine is about to leave Chase. He loves it there, his pay is very good, but he likes to move quickly and independently and he can't handle the massive corporate structure. He's taking a big pay cut to get into a slightly different field doing what he really wants and being a decision-maker instead of a follower.
  14. in jail he'll be the first Subway customer who is desperately hoping the footlong is actually only 11"
  15. I mean that I'm surprised the majority of the users aren't .gov cuz they're clearly not doing any real work when they're getting paid.
  16. What surprises me is that there aren't MORE emails with those suffixes (suffices?). That must mean that our .gov and .mil employees are A) smarter and B) busier than we thought.
  17. 90-95% male membership :lolguy::lolguy::lolguy:
  18. As much as I'm not huge on the grey/grey, it immediately reminds me of the E46 CSL which is not a bad thing at all.
  19. i think i might have one of the batman games, and a couple others i could/would sell for cheap.
  20. Very good car for a very good price. Even with the cost of normal tires, this is a steal for someone. Even if someone doesn't have all the cash, it should NOT be difficult to secure a loan for this car under $200/mo.
