  1. Invictas pending, Nixon and Fossil still available
  2. EDIT: INVICTA WATCHES SOLD. Nixon and Fossil still available. 4 more watches for sale 1) Nixon The Scout Leather $30. I think they only did this version in this color, they did many versions of the Scout but I've never seen another that was fabric on the outside, leather on the inside of the band. Either way it's a nice watch, and will need a new battery. Shows signs of wear on the end of the band, but nothing extraordinary. 100M water resistant. http://i.imgur.com/UKLJkV4l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mf7TkgJl.jpg 2) Fossil Blue watch style "CH 2319" $30. New battery last year. On the top subdial you can see the hand is .1 second off, and on the bottom subdial the hand is 2 seconds off. Both are used only with the stopwatch function, everything else is normal. Small scratch on the bezel on the triangle over 12 oclock. Old watch and used to wear it daily, so it's worn but not abnormally in any way. http://i.imgur.com/Py47AbGl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vhkwCp8l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/J4RglkLl.jpg
  3. You and every single other person who got a tax return. If it's not an absolute need right now, I highly recommend you wait as long as possible because the demand for such vehicles is sky-high and prices reflect that. You'll be able to buy much more car in a few months.
  4. Extra bathroom with a murphy bed in it, win/win
  5. That's not about greed, that's just an idiot not knowing the market.
  6. These two statements are typically mutually exclusive but I can't help feeling that you may be correct.
  7. I thought they made it as a manual but dealers were idiots and didn't order them as such?
  8. Will let everyone know if it falls through but I wouldn't count on it. Never had a buyer on CR fall through for me and I don't plan on starting now. May have another couple watches up for sale soon. A Nixon, a Fossil, and some cheap-o Invictas if you're interested.
  9. Thanks for the kind words. It really is a ridiculously nice bike. I spent all last winter researching bike brands, components, styles, etc and settled on this. It'd be awesome as a pure road bike if you just swap a different set of tires on it, though it's perfectly capable as is.
  10. I'm selling my beautiful CX bike. I wanted to get back into biking and thought this would be a great starting point and I was wrong, it just wasn't the right bike for me. My loss will be your gain because this is a FANTASTIC bike for the price. What you see in this link is the exact bike that I'm selling. Use: Cyclocross bikes are specifically made for - get this - Cyclocross racing. It's a rather insane looking form of racing that I have no interest whatsoever in, but rather I wanted a road bike that I could take off road. My gf has a beautiful Trek road bike and this was more than capable of keeping up with her speedy ass. I'll admit I didn't like the way it rode off pavement. I much prefer the feeling of a mountain bike, which is what I'm looking to replace this with. I thought I'd get used to the geometry and that I'd be able to adapt myself to this bike. Not the case. Thus, I only rode this bike a total of about 50 miles, really not far at all. It's as close to brand new as you can get. Facts: It's all on the linked website, but the quick rundown is it's an aluminum frame bike with carbon front fork, Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes, 20-speed Shimano Tiagra components (shifters/brakes/derailleurs), SRAM chain, FSA Omega 175mm crank. PRICE: I paid $1200 for this bike in early 2014 at Baer Wheels in Clintonville (great business), which really doesn't matter to you because what do you care what kind of a bath I'm taking. I'd like to sell for $900, which for a relatively unused bike of this caliber I believe is a great price. Let me know if you feel differently. Additionally, I'd be open to trading for a hardtail MTB, but would like to get some cash out of it as well, so let me know what you've got and we'll come to an agreement. sportcr620@yahoo.com or text me 614-499-1112. I can provide pictures upon request, it's currently stored in my cool, dry basement. EDIT FOR PICS: remaining tread (basically new) http://i.imgur.com/9xVXiY9l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/K5sLy2Fl.jpg evil cat does not come with the bike http://i.imgur.com/erfJjoFl.jpg
  11. Just like the answers to "what's best for my health" and "what politicians are really looking out for my interests", the correct answer is that there's no one answer for everything. Imagine how horrible a hellaflush Chevelle SS would handle without insane suspension modifications. Imagine how ridiculous and numb a GTI would feel with balloon tires without appropriate suspension modifications. The balloons worked because those cars already were numb in the handling department, but a little extra sidewall provided some additional traction as you said. The stretched tires work for an MK3 because you're not looking for the sidewall to assist in straight-line speed, and the suspension is [ideally] set up for incredible stiffness.
  12. "Exotic" lol. I'm pretty sure only an American could fathom something so horrifying, thus it's the opposite of exotic.
  13. Every time I see one of those bumpers I laugh because it's always in a mall parking lot. SHUT UP BRUH I'M ON MY WAY TO DAKAR FUCK YOU. Still, no fucks given, make your car look the way you want it.
  14. I've always thought this was interesting, since OH has some of the lowest doc fees by law in the U.S. It's amazing what other states allow. In OH max doc fee is $250 or 10% of vehicle's sale price, whichever number is lower. So a $2,500,000 car is $250, a $25,000 car is $250, but a $2,000 car can only be $200. Not only that but you have to charge the same to EVERYONE or it's considered discrimination and you get raped up the butt with fines. I know people who sell cars/bikes in FL, GA, VA and their doc fees are insane, like $500-700.
  15. It started out as poking fun at car flippers, but the more we learned the more we realized something illegal might be happening. Read my posts. If the worst happened, Andy could be up shit creek. It goes beyond sketchy used car sales and into fraud territory.
  16. That's because you asked a question to which he knows he'd be lying if he said "no". Even in an as-is sale, if the seller knowingly misrepresents a vehicle it's illegal. If he knows there's a crank issue and tells you there isn't, he's on the hook. He's probably avoiding those types of inquiries in favor of "Hey #brah how much more #stance can I wring out of it, is it #bagged and do you accept blowjobs as #payment I'm totally #lowlife #stancenation" knowing that he won't have the sharpest tools in the shed to deal with.
  17. If this guy's trying to float the title, you want to get those tags back from him ASAP. Let's say he commits a hit-and-run then ditches the car. I'm not a lawyer, and as I said every state is different, but the burden of proof will likely be on you to prove that you're NOT liable since the car's still titled, registered, and plated in your name. Saying "well I took insurance off" is actually a worse thing because if the car is still registered in your name then you are guilty of not properly insuring a vehicle registered to you. Seriously, you probably want to get those plates back yesterday. And mods may want to lock this thread for privacy reasons.
  18. DEAREST SIR, PLEASE BE ASSURED THIS IS NO SCAM. I AM MAILING TO IN ORDER TO VERIFY THE READINESS OF THIS CAR TO BE PURCHASED. I AM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES, AN EMISSARY OF THE GREAT STATE OF MAURITANIA, MY AGENT WILL BE COMMUNICATING WITH YOU IN ORDER TO TRANSMIT THE ENTIRE PRICE OF PURCHASE OF THE VEHICLE OF INTEREST. REGARDS, PRINCE IDI AMIN (Not that one, totally a different one)
