  1. If his dad won't consider this he's a fucking idiot. Those SL2s run forever, every single one I've had traded in had 200k on it and the owner was fine getting $200 because they got all their money's worth and more out of that car. Tell him to pull his head out of his ass and that a Corolla or Civic with 80k more miles is nowhere near as good a buy as this Saturn.

  3. I've always loved creative punishments that are tailored to fit the crime. Force the guy to squat in an actually abandoned property in super shitty parts of Cbus and keep him under house arrest for 21 years.
  4. As stated in the title, I've got a RSB from my 1959 Chevy Apache 3200. It was given to me, not sure if it was ever on a truck. I'd guess it'd fit anything between 56-59 but I'm not sure. I think it's missing a little hardware on it, I don't honestly know. If you know anyone who could use it please let me know. I have 0 interest in profiting off this thing, I just want it to go to someone who will use it rather than just flip it to make a buck. I'll get pics up ASAP.
  5. Road trip report: OH/PA freaked out over nothing, I hit about 3 minutes of sustained snowfall in Akron around 0700 on the 27th. The rest of the trip had very little precip. Up in VT the roads were mostly clear save for a little ice. About 3" of accumulation on the driveway was no match for the snow tires. Conclusion: FWD LOL
  6. Just got back from a short out of town trip to see this. Fantastic that car was returned and pill junkies hopefully are busted.
  7. Again, just make sure it's a new Hyundai. Used ones only get 5yr/60k powertrain and no bumper-to-bumper. If it's sold thru a Hyundai dealer they can basically "reactivate" the 10yr/100k for a small fee.
  8. I'm hoping that I76-I80 will avoid most of the really bad lake stuff that Cleveland/Erie/Buffalo is gonna get. Also hoping that by getting thru there before 0800 that we'll get behind some early AM salt trucks.
  9. My coworker's got a PS4 and his nephew has XB1. Bottom line; I don't think you can go wrong with either. Just compare the features with how you tend to use entertainment devices and see which aligns better with your needs/wants. The console gaming experience has gotten to the point where they're almost identical. I've always enjoyed PS interface/experience more, but I have an X360 that I rarely use...just for Forza4.
  10. How bad was 81/84? I will be leaving tomorrow 4am and I've been watching Google Maps traffic to see if there's any major construction. So far it just looks bad at Fishkill but Waterbury is surprisingly all green for traffic. EDIT: Gotta love New Englanders, only 3-6"
  11. Another vote for Derek, he treats people right. I always try to do business with him before anyone else.
  12. That's just because you want some LG drone to be impressed that anyone can watch 23 hours of hair product informercials per day.
  13. Yeah it was nice to get a chance to get the feel for my new snows on this car. I only ever drove in the slush once, the day I bought it, on summer performance tires.
  14. No one bothers talking about this. It's always about the marginal things that are "easier" to do something about.
  15. And it almost definitely contributed to the shooting. http://www.cnn.com/2013/11/25/justice/sandy-hook-shooting-report/index.html?hpt=hp_t1 NOW LETS USE THIS AS EVIDENCE THAT WE SHOULD BAN DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION BECAUSE IT'S CLEARLY THE REASON THAT HE SHOT UP A SCHOOL FULL OF LITTLE KIDS. /sarcasm
  16. LMFAO I love how he's got 2 different non-negotiable prices (one at the top of the ad, higher prices at the bottom of the ad), both of which are way above book value. Also, I've seen that guy driving around. He drives the fuck outta that thing.
  17. Someone on CR was selling a Toyota Previa for $500. BECAUSE MID ENGINE RWD DRIFT VAN.
  18. Basically LG's Smart TVs (not sure if Smarthub includes internet connection) were logging, reporting, and storing customer viewing data even if customers explicitly changed privacy settings to prevent it. They got busted.
  19. http://www.technobuffalo.com/2013/11/24/lg-promises-to-fix-controversial-smart-tv-data-collection-settings/ LG :lolguy: :dumb:
  20. They're the definition of disposable transportation appliances. They're extremely cheap, they know they are and thus the "great" warranty (hint: many things aren't covered on the warranty). But subsequent owners after the original don't get the warranty. I honestly think they just make the cars to lease to people at low prices, then after the lease is up they're devalued, crappy and have minimal/no warranty left so Hyundai doesn't have to worry about the used market.
  21. I love when people go bonkers for these supposed deals. I thought everyone knew that electronics manufacturers have special models for black Friday deals that are not up to spec with their non-BF counterparts.
  22. Not with the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ices I just put on. Going up to VT on Saturday too.
  23. I'm leaving Wednesday at 0400 for CT :megusta:
