  1. Grrrrggrrrm....can't afford it right now...damnit all to hell. You guys have fun.
  2. Could exhaust obstructions cause: -fowling of spark plugs? -carbon build up on valves? -other forms of shitty running (beyond simple lost power)?
  3. No, they're fucking children. They don't wake up in the morning thinking "Oh god who's gunna screw me today!?" Remember those days?
  4. That last kid probably broke his wrist. You can seriously fuck up a foot/ let with the ball. Personally I'd like to beat the shit out of those asshats.
  5. I didn'tsay "cocst of fees", I said cost of proccessing. There is not only the fee fromt he provider, but the costs associated with getting the cards data. This requires a computer/scanner and access to a network of some kind. Ask anyone who's ever run a buisness, everything always costs more then what you're charged. I don't know the guy, he could be a shady dickhead. All i can say is that you damn well better beleive that If I was running the shit, there would be a minimum charge of some amount. Seriously, how hard is it to carry cash?
  6. The Minimum charges exist because it costs a company money to proccess a CC payment. If you don't purchase $X with you're CC, they are loosing money on the purchase. Credit cards ar enot legal tender, so they can leaglly charge whatever minimum they want. The CC company agreements are the only things lmiting them...but don't cound on alot being done. Things are too good the way they are; the CC companies NEED a presence in bars, too moch money to be made. Bar owners NEED to be able to accept CC payments, or they'll loose buisness. But they need to keep making money: Suppose a thousand people walk in and CC-buy a $5 pint each. The overhead on that pint is $3.50, so they make $1.50.....but, it costs $2 to proccess a cerdit card payment. So, those thousand beers cost the bar $500. For the sake of civic economic responcebility, use cash at small buisness whenever possible, never use credit for less then $10. Fuck Wal Mart et al, they have better deals with CC companies and can afford the losses anyways. So with respect to the minimum CC purchase, I have to side with the bars. Too many people come in for just a pint and a conversation, the small buisnesses can't take that hit. I'd counter this; What kind of a cunt doesn't have $6 cash on him to get a beer? For this specific instance: The charge and Tip are outright theivery, plain and simple, the bitch needs fired and the bill needs voided. Also, as common as cards are, they NEED to tell you before they pour. No signs or that kind of bull shit; "good evening sir, cash or credit this evening?". Imagine filling up at a gas station that doens't take credit, but doesn't tell you until the gas is in your tank.
  7. This makes me laugh for some reason: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-w-BQJsv08&mode=related&search=
  8. Don't drive so far: http://thunderbay.noaa.gov/
  9. I'm planning some Free-diving on some shallow Huron wrecks in early August, in?
  10. Thought Then you don't need a kite tube. 25mph is going to get an adult airborn. If they can't get airborn then there's no point in using a kite tube, they suck on the water. If you do get one, you'll go fast, it's ok, we understand. Just make sure whoever you're dragging realizes that the veiw over the nose isn't worth dying for. Keep the weight at the ass and you wont have nose-over disasters. Try tying a little parachute or a streamer to the back, take a tip from actual kites on how to maintain stability.
  11. Tyvek, Tyvek tape, 1" PVC pipe = enough lift to get it done.
  12. The plan is to replace and reroute the pipe, and make a heat sheild with ceramic or something from work (we have insulation that will stop molten aluminum from blistering paint 1/2" away..but I dunno if its waterproof)
  13. Doh, I got info from alot of places saying that it takes Dex3, so that's what I put in last night. Also, I didn't drain the TC (I wasn't sure how I'd refill it).
  14. What it has is a log manifold into 2 cat'ed 2" downpipes. These come together into a single 2" that runs past the tranny. It splits into two pipes and runs out the back like that. But going off the quality of the welds...or lack there of, I can't be sure that it is OE. Everyone I've talked to about my transmission has said "I don't think you quite fathom the amount of abuse needed to kill a 4L80E". So I'm praying that super hot fluid is playing tricks on me. I drained the tranny last night (but not the TC) and filled it back up. After a short test drive I noticed the problems were still there, and the dip stick tip was too hot to touch, by allot. Would overheated fluid cause hard shifts and a slipping feeling?
  15. -4.0 DOHC straight 6 -Eaton M90 supercharger -322hp, 378 lb ft -2" OD exhaust? The pair of 2" downtubes come together (by way of flux ugly weld) into a single 2 inch pipe, then back into a pair of 2" pipes. This 2" pipe runs within an inch of my transmission pan. This pipe would be getting very hot form all of the gasses cramming into it. Could the heat transfer from this pipe be enough to cause transmission overheating? Thought, previous owner was a tool. Had an exhaust on it, but saved the old one. When he dumped the car on a dealership, he gave them the old exhaust to weld back on...poorly. Or they got a junker system, either way, I need to get rid of the pipe.
  16. yessir, I can spary if needed. I need to hit a hobby shop. This town is weird, I have to drive 8 miles for one of those. The only things that are abundant down here are gardening joints.

    Sushi?

There's one next to Crosswoods movie thater, by the Chipotle. It was good. Tuna tastes great as raw fish, salmon, too. Most menu's will have Foot notes for round-eye telling you what's spicey, whats cooked, what's not etc.
  18. Making a toy train for the boy, I need Silver, Black, Red and Orange (replica of SP 4449). Needs to be durable and digestable....ish. Testors doesn't seem to fit the bill, idea?
  19. Del Co doesn't do the water, I actually called them first. Turns out it's 'Columbus and central ohio systems inc". I did get ahold of them, and turns out hte bill is for our last two months....during which we used zero water. What I'm afraid of ('ll have to go back and check) is that we're billed as an apartment block, divided up evenly betweent he units. In such a case, our lack of use would matter very little, 7 other aparatments would be using as normal.
  20. I've found mention of Dex3, but nothing solid. Does anyone know for sure what these transmissions drink? Thanks in advance!
  21. Water provider is Columbus and Central Ohio Systems Inc. Also cannot get ahold of them, calls go straight to voicemail. Try to google them, I get absolutely didly squat, like they don't exist. WTF?
