  1. My DeLorean had something just like this next to the driver's seat... weird. J/K, that's badass!
  2. Free bump for something I wish I had the money to buy...
  3. 1988 Buick Riviera, 175K miles. Runs great, drives well. Will need brake pads soon, they're squeaking. Dual power seats, A/C blows cold, touch screen radio/climate/other BS that was cool in 1988 all works. Paint is good, car looks pretty nice, everything works. Headliner will need to be replaced. It has a new harmonic balancer, (rubber in the old one was worn and making noise) crank sensor, MAF sensor, and O2 sensor. Even after all of that, the CEL refuses to turn off. Leaks some power steering fluid from the cooler, but you just have to fill it up every few weeks. (It's been like that for at least a year and 15K miles.) It's not perfect, but it's an awfully nice beater. Did I mention the insurance costs practically nothing? Sorry no pics, but anyone interested in seeing it can PM me and make arrangements. Asking $1300, but this is very negotiable if I can sell it by this weekend; I want to buy another car. If it doesn't sell by then, I'll just keep it around.
  4. Wow, I haven't been on here in a while. Sorry to hear about your accident; and I know it has already been said... but at least you're around to tell the story. Good luck to you.
  5. I haven't actually purchased the car yet, though I will be this coming week. It's a 1977 L-48 automatic; capable of beating most mopeds through the 1/4 mile. Since I had to sell my Z06 a month ago, thinking about it has driven me crazy. I thought I'd save this one from an unfitting life of rotting away on blocks. Any spare parts? It's going to need them.
  6. I think it's 5 X 4 3/4.. not sure though. As long as they clear the brakes enough for the car to roll, I think that would work. I know that Corvette wheels fit on a Camaro, and Camaro wheels fit on an S10; so theoretically S10 wheels should fit on a Corvette. Are they some you want to sell, or will you need them back?
  7. I'm not concerned with condition, or looks. I'm wondering if anyone might have even some old rally wheels laying around. I'm not opposed to nice ones, but I really just need anything. I'm going to buy a car that has none on it at all, and need a way to put it on a tow truck.
  8. My first bike was a KZ 440. Great learner's bike; won't beat a Dodge Caravan in a drag race though.
  9. Dammit... my car will be sold before I ever get to race yours. Glad it's running well, though!
  10. One more bump, then it's going on Ebay with no reserve. Offers?
  11. Offers anyone? I'll consider anything over $1900. My mom and dad are in a pinch at the moment and I spend every penny I make (and then some), and $2000 would get me where I need to be. These things bring $3500 + on Ebay, I just can't wait a week and possibly deal with a deadbeat bidder. This thing needs to go now.
  12. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24732 Not fast, not really slow. Price is negotiable, to say the least.
  13. For sale is my beloved 1990 Indy pace car, family member's financial problems forces sale. 3.1 V6 103K miles Working A/C Removable sunroof Automatic Runs great Drives fine (needs struts, one squeaks a little) Clear is peeling off the spoiler No rips/tears in upholstery, the embroidery on the seats is still nice. Pioneer detachable face CD player w/remote Stainless steel DTM muffler (yes, it's kind of loud; no, it's not fast) 25 MPG around town, kind of peppy too. This car gets LOTS of attention, even if it is old and slow. It's by no means perfect, but nicer than most. No pics right now, digital camera is teh suck, but if you're interested, PM me and you can come look at it. $3000 or make an offer, I'm desperate. In case you're curious, this is just like mine except mine has the original big Indy stickers (That say Official Pace car, 74th Indianapolis 500 May 27, 1990) in the middle of the doors. Autotrader EDIT: Some crappy pics taken with my camera phone can be seen here: http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/154612610.html
  14. Not to take away from your story, but I laughed at this. This is part of the reason that despite many problems that my wife and I have had that we've made an effort to make things work. We've certainly had our differences, but aside from the fact that I love my wife, I want to give our son the best life we can. I was not quite 18 and my wife was 21 (No, we weren't married until he was 3) when our son was born, and instead of turning tail and running (which seems to be socially acceptable nowadays) we have done our best to provide a good life for the child we created. It's been tough at times, but it's all worth it in the end. I really do feel for some of you that are in situations like this; I couldn't imagine being practically bankrupted and forced to be a weekend dad.
  15. Beat me to it. As I was reading this post, I wondered if I was going to get to point it out.
  16. Dammit.. guess I should have scrolled down a little farther.
