Depends. I work for Advance now, but worked for NAPA in the past. If you are ASE certified, you're looking at $11/hr + from AZ/Advance, $13 + at NAPA, depending on experience. Really good people (If you don't have some cheapo hiring you) are bringing $16/hr +. Don't bank on it if you're trying to get hired this time of year - it's slow season.

This same guy did a smoky burnout in the middle of the intersection to get my attention last year on Gender road... when I turned around and followed him back to Advance auto parts, he gave me some story about a problem with his transmission and said he didn't want to run. He also said it had a 5.4 truck motor in it....

Does the car run on ether? Does it sound erratic when cranking the engine? If not, replace the pick-up assembly in the distributor, or replace the whole distributor, and the ignition coil. Sounds like weak spark to me, and either of these (assuming your cap, rotor and wires are in good shape) can cause your problem. Side note, there is no "control module" on these cars; it's all contained within the PCM.

^^^ I know it's easy to think that, but it's not that simple. I've only been in two fights where it lasted more than a few punches... land 20-30 punches and restrain someone while swinging away for a solid two minutes; a hard thwack with a feather will throw you for a loop.
