Well I hope it does pass. I'm not drilling holes in the bumper of my new Z06 just to passify a law thats ridiculous. My car isn't even made for that front plate and with a plate it would look horrendous. Passing this law will save our state money (and me too should I get tix for not displaying) -

Actually I started the post asking who uses which manufactured fuels. I'm staying with Sunoco or Shell -

h22eg6sir = Not a big deal, however if I'm in a parking lot I don't want to be in 1st (sometimes) reving up when the car can creep even better in 2nd. There's just times that being in 1st at low speed it not where I want to be. I have a manual so that I can CHOOSE what gear I want to be in. Additionally I don't need our govt telling me how to drive my car. Govt dictates too much already -

My new Z06 has that stupid skip shift feature where you can't shift from 1st to 2nd under 15 mph (I hate that). Took car cover off (Mike)!! went to Jegs & bought the part, my brother put it in, now I can shift her normally. Radar detector got installed too & fresh mobil 1. C'mon spring and rid the road of road salt debris!

Wow, I never thought there were soo many variables? Thanks for all the input. Think I'll stay with Sunoco & or Shell 93. Probably will continue to shy away from BP, plus I remain torked at them too for the irresponsible acts in our gulf

I was wondering what the Preferred "brand" of gasoline used by you folks on this forum is? I've used Sunoco most of my life. The C5 Z06 I'd owned for 7 years got only Sunoco 93 octane. I never had any problems with the injectors or anything, but since I just spent a small fortune for the new C6 Z06, I'm wondering???? I've heard BP is best followed by Shell??

Owned my C5 Z06 for 7 years. Never put anything in her but Mobil 1 synthetic and Sunoco 93 octane fuel. Only real money I had to put in it was a new $1700 computer. And as posted earlier / YES turn traction OFF before burn outs - check your tires too, replacements are expensive -
