I didn't downshift, I was already in third from coming down the onramp. You passed me cause I let off for the tight turn right after you get on 33. I won't say that we've raced until it's official. From a roll you'd probably win by a bit, but from a dig I think I'd have a much better chance, thanks to your super ATX.

Linky August 26-28. The site doesn't give a schedule, so I'm not sure what happens Friday. Probably practive and/or qualifying. Saturday night is the race. Starts at 6 and lasts 2 3/4 hours. Sunday is some tuner show, I'm not really interested in that, but I might check it out. Best part: $25 for a weekend pass, including a free paddock pass. I'm just seeing who's planning on going. I'll definitely be there for the race. Work and school will keep me from going Friday, though. K, well I just wanted to let everyone know about this event.

I still think it's real. Strange shit happens, so maybe it did land in that ditch almost perfectly flat, hence no torn up grass behind the front end. Or maybe it did tear up the ground, but it's hidden under the front end, or in the shadow of the car.

I think the people look bigger because they're closer to the camera than the car. And the torn up dirt behind the car gives it away also. The car doesn't look too badly damaged, still a damn shame. Maybe the poor bastard driving it couldn't handle the power lol

I like small, sporty cars, too. So I like the SS. I like the black wheels on the black car, kinda nice. I thought the wing was an option? Or maybe I read wrong. It definitley needs lowered, no one like wheel gap, except maybe off roaders. Anyways, nice graemlins/thumb.gif

I also thought I should post since I appear to be the only ZX2 owner here as well. Right now I just have some bolt-ons on it, along with wheels and a Wings West kit. Car and Driver never actually tested the car with their equipment. They just got to drive a pre-production version around a track. It was mostly a hands on preview. I trust their numbers most of the time, though. They use very expensive GPS equipment for testing. They had an article a while back explaining the system and how they use it. But, there is still room for error. Not everyone is gonna get a car to run the same times. But you guys already know about that stuff smile.gif

Since I'm probably the only ZX2 driver that visits this forum (but never posts) I should make some comments. The S/R's were made in '99 and '00. S/R stands for street/racing (yeah, ricey). They claim to have a little over 140 HP as opposed to the 130 of regular ZX2's. Art95Celica's list pretty much covered everything. In '99, 100 models came with a Roush intake that was supposed to be the best intake made for the ZX2. They're hard to find and go for way more than any sane person would pay for an intake. The only part of the S/R I would really like to have is the rear discs, centerforce clutch and the PCM. The rest I can do without or get better versions of. But that's about all I gotta say, I'll go back into seclusion now.
