According to Mulsannescorner.com (sweet website by the way) The R8 uses a 3.6 liter V8, not V10. I thought I heard the racing V8 was actually derived from one of their street engines, but I'm not sure.

I knew they were once Auto Union, back in WW2 era when a few smaller German car companies merged into one. I thought there was a time when they were known by another name with the word "works" in it. It was just a bad guess on my part.

Cool. When it went by the camera it sounded like a mix of a jet plane and car going by. The end seemed almost fake cause of how fast the guy was reading off the speeds while it didn't look like he went very far.

It's not like there are no laws on the Autobahn. There are some put in place to make things safer. First off, I believe they do need a special license to use it. Some sections do have speed limits that can change according to traffic conditions in the area. They also are not allowed to pass on the right, left lane passing only. But, American drivers are so used to the way things are now, it'd be hard for most people to break the habbit of driving like an asshole.

For the love of all that is holy, what the fuck!?!? That Mustang looks good, but would look better with a 390 or something along that line under its hood. No not at all. In fact, I found that much in my couch just yesterday . They don't plan on making many of them anyways. It was more of a technical demonstration than anything else. Though, I read they plan on making a sports car to match the 911 or Boxster, I forget which.

According to most comparisons I've read the cars are pretty close. The Miata usually wins by a little, and it'd be my choice of the two, as well. But this creation kinda turns things around.

How can anyone not love that car. If it lined up against a Mclaren F1 and let the F1 get to 100 before the Bugatti even left the line, the Bugatti would still beat it to 200. Now that's fast.

I was also driving east of town tonight, it was interesting to say the least. I was following my friend while trying to find our way to the highway. At one point he slammed on his brakes to make a blind turn and I had to swerve to keep from hitting his bumper. He later told me that he almost slid into the ditch at that time. Thankfully, my car doesn't have ABS :sarcasm:
