  2. Looks like its at MSRP to me. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=444599341&zip=45371&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D45371%26showcaseOwnerId%3D70114797%26startYear%3D1981%26sortBy%3DderivedpriceDESC%26incremental%3Dall%26firstRecord%3D0%26endYear%3D2018%26modelCodeList%3DFOCUS%26makeCodeList%3DFORD%26searchRadius%3D100%26trimCodeList%3DFOCUS%257CRS&startYear=1981&numRecords=25&firstRecord=0&endYear=2018&modelCodeList=FOCUS&makeCodeList=FORD&searchRadius=100&makeCode1=FORD&modelCode1=FOCUS Coming from a guy who bought a brand new ST, I just cant see spending 40k on a Focus.
  3. Impractical. Inaccurate. Fucking Loud. I love mine http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/IMG_4801_zpss9e6i8fc.jpg
  4. WIN! I think it looks bad ass. Would never spend that kind of coin on it, but looks bad ass.
  5. I am surprised they don't ship them to places where they don't care if the pass emissions and sell them there. Africa, China, India, etc.
  6. Must have expired: http://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/5961389258.html Not really bored, defiantly plenty of work to keep me busy still. In Craigslist land, I see some other cars Id like to throw a wrench at. One of those "grass is greener on the other side" deals. Hence why I am only posting till I can start working on it again.
  7. I am floating it out on Craigslist over the winter until my bonus time in April. If it sells, Ill get something else. If not, Ill get the motor and transmission in and keep working.
  8. At a $2500 budget, not exactly going to be able to get a Lexus. GTP's wound be another: https://dayton.craigslist.org/cto/5896141242.html https://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/5936746905.html
  9. Can find Police Crown Vic's all day long in that price range. https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5932811908.html And that one you can even lock up the kids!
  10. Oh I am sure its not what you are looking for http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124689
  11. I "like" it a lot. I really hope its all you expect it is, just cant justify its cost to me. Then again, you don't have to
  12. Not trying to be an ass or nothing. I just cant see spending that kind of coin. I was diehard for years with my 410 Windsor. Should have sold it all and built a 5.3. And RPM on an LSx is just a Cam / Valve spring swap away. And for the most part, your going to do that anyway. I think after you dump this amount of coin into your car, you will look back at it and be like, Why? I know I did. Seems like you would have learned that lesson with your 3.8.
  13. That statement right there is why I will prolly never build another Ford engine again. $4000 and its doubtful that motor would make 400 NA to the tire (Yes, I have seen plenty of build threads). A 5.3 LSX with a cam and some long tubes? $1200 total? I mean at 4k that's 1/3 the cost of JP's RX7.......
  14. You'd be surprised..... http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=45371&endYear=2017&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3FendYear%3D2017%26zip%3D45371%26maxPrice%3D40000%26trimCodeList%3DCTS%257CV%26modelCodeList%3DCTS%26trim1%3DCTS%257CV%26mmt%3D%255BCAD%255BCTS%255BCTS%25257CV%255D%255D%255B%255D%255D%26modelCode1%3DCTS%26sortBy%3DdistanceASC%26showcaseOwnerId%3D0%26startYear%3D2007%26makeCode1%3DCAD%26firstRecord%3D0%26searchRadius%3D500%26makeCodeList%3DCAD&modelCode1=CTS&showcaseOwnerId=0&makeCode1=CAD&startYear=2007&firstRecord=0&numRecords=25&searchRadius=500&maxPrice=40000&listingId=442532283&makeCode1=CAD&modelCode1=CTS http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=45371&endYear=2017&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3FendYear%3D2017%26zip%3D45371%26maxPrice%3D40000%26trimCodeList%3DCTS%257CV%26modelCodeList%3DCTS%26trim1%3DCTS%257CV%26mmt%3D%255BCAD%255BCTS%255BCTS%25257CV%255D%255D%255B%255D%255D%26modelCode1%3DCTS%26sortBy%3DdistanceASC%26showcaseOwnerId%3D0%26startYear%3D2007%26makeCode1%3DCAD%26firstRecord%3D0%26searchRadius%3D500%26makeCodeList%3DCAD&modelCode1=CTS&showcaseOwnerId=0&makeCode1=CAD&startYear=2007&firstRecord=0&numRecords=25&searchRadius=500&maxPrice=40000&listingId=439126259&makeCode1=CAD&modelCode1=CTS http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=45371&endYear=2017&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3FendYear%3D2017%26zip%3D45371%26maxPrice%3D40000%26trimCodeList%3DCTS%257CV%26modelCodeList%3DCTS%26trim1%3DCTS%257CV%26mmt%3D%255BCAD%255BCTS%255BCTS%25257CV%255D%255D%255B%255D%255D%26modelCode1%3DCTS%26sortBy%3DdistanceASC%26showcaseOwnerId%3D0%26startYear%3D2007%26makeCode1%3DCAD%26firstRecord%3D0%26searchRadius%3D500%26makeCodeList%3DCAD&modelCode1=CTS&showcaseOwnerId=0&makeCode1=CAD&startYear=2007&firstRecord=0&numRecords=25&searchRadius=500&maxPrice=40000&listingId=440749760&makeCode1=CAD&modelCode1=CTS
  15. 97-08 Grand Prix GTP http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5832074025.html http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5823314496.html http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5823957256.html http://limaohio.craigslist.org/cto/5837030920.html http://mansfield.craigslist.org/cto/5829188328.html
  16. Saw these when I was a lot younger, kind of surprised to find them. The Day After was down right fucking scary shit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rM-hcgv0J3k
  17. So I found a little time to work on the 69 some. Got all the suspension stuff I wanted to do, except for the sub-frame connectors. Here are the front upper control arms after removal. One of the shocks came apart (Lol). You can also see they are two different brands. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/6dbdd93a-8630-474a-b6cd-788354c77730_zpscca415i3.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4634_zpsr77fgguh.jpg New lowering spring vs. Old http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4633_zpsymosx93a.jpg And, fronts complete. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4635_zpsi81vp7c8.jpg From here, we move to the rear. First thing I noticed were the rear tires have a bit of dry rot. Also, I like the white overspray. Guess they didn't cover them very well when the car was painted white. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4673_zpscxgphckz.jpg Next, noticed the rear brake soft line was touching a turn down. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4668_zpszsterdcv.jpg Sigh. Get the rear shocks out, and thought they looked funny.... http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4671_zpsslyer1pa.jpg I then got the rear lowering blocks and new KYB shocks in. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4672_zpsx1if5kfo.jpg Think the stance looks a lot better now. Just need some 17's or 18's now. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4674_zpsmmkxbzlw.jpg Moving on, I then finally made a bracket to attach the rear seat at the bottom. I couldnt drill a hole, as the 99 seat's went right into the frame. Made this on the quick, should do the job. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4660_zpsltxeganp.jpg Couple shots showing my china grill emblem in black, and all the correct headlight hardware. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4662_zps7vbpqfpj.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4661_zpscfnsxccn.jpg Next? I scored a 302 and AOD from here (thanks Jeff!). Think at this point, I am just going to lift and shift the current 302/C4 setup. Later, assuming all goes well, look into Cams, heads, Etc. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_4618_zpszowb2c5v.jpg
