  2. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/10/02/las-vegas-shooting-at-least-50-dead-more-than-200-injured-in-massacre.html Just read the comments at the bottom of the page. Its just dishearten's me to see the country like this. I want to time warp to the 50's.....

  5. Another thing. The F-150 5.0's have dished pistons, so it will be pretty low compression. At bear minimum, you will need a Mustang cam, Mustang oil pan and distributor. My old Ghetto Fab combo made 396/486 at 7.5 psi. (Stock engine, mustang cam, heads, trickflow intake and 64mm turbo) Gesh, it was 10 years ago I built that.....
  6. I was just there a few months ago. Took a lot longer to get up there in the Suburban....
  7. Truck cam is a different firing order as well

Agreed, saw it tonight and loved it. Just wish we would have seen it in IMax.
  10. So its an AWD Impala that cost 10k more?
  11. I made a Imgur account. But man that is going to suck to find all the pics I did use, and then put the correct Imgur link back in its place. Sigh..... Fuck you photobucket! Anyone know if Imgur has hosting limits? Space limits? Etc.? The Roadkill 69. At least theirs does a burnout. I shit you not, this car wont do one. It almost stalls, lol.
  12. Only thing left is the Driveshaft. Brand new TKO 600, shifter, Clutch and Driveshaft that was purchased from American Muscle earlier this year. 14. Hell, for the price of the cam swap you prolly could LS swap it, lol.
  15. Thanks everyone! So here is the passenger door. Pretty much needs a mirror to hide their bastardizing of things: http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0356_zpslxfwpxdx.jpg And this is what the front bumper braces look like: http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0357_zpsvo5isf1j.jpg These dumb bastards tack welded them!! The nut that is in the channel frame brakes off over the years. All you have to do, is drill a hole through the channel. Use some grade 8 hardware, and done. But nnnnoooooooo, not on this car. Also, its missing this bumper bracket as well. http://www.cjponyparts.com/bumper-bracket-front-outer-driver-side-1969-1970/p/BB3OL/ Going to tackle it sometime, as its the only way to get the parking lights I bought last year to fit.
  16. Weird. I know its not smart, but I used to have a helmet I got from Meijer. It passed tech for years at: Kil-Kare Tri State Edgewater National Trails Norwalk St. Louis Raceway Bowling Green Some other track in KY, cant remember its name. But, for $50, those ones on EBay seems like a good deal. Lol
  17. So. Like 3 days after the prior pictures were taken, the car broke down on the way to work. Did the same thing it had done when I brought it home from Cleveland. I had replaced so much on the car and it had not don't it since, I assumed it had been fixed. Silly me..... So I was able to limp it home. Car is so simple, its either fuel or spark. Figured I would start with the fuel filter as it is easy to get to and was like, That was easy to figure out! Rusty tank. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0269_zps1xi2lr45.jpg So I know the tank has been replaced at some point, but who knows. Decided to replace the tank and the fuel pump. Lucky for me, CJ Pony Parts had a sale and I got everything for less than $200 shipped. Love the fact they didnt use a gasket or more than 1 screw. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0274_zpshebj1704.jpg Out with the old http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0276_zpsbmdscpjf.jpg Painted the new tank and the fuel pump with black Spray bed liner. Put some gas back in it and it fired right up. Even my new cheap gas gauge is working now!!!! http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0284_zps6rpdveyx.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0286_zpsfonstxfl.jpg So after driving it around some, I notice the springs were not settling to my liking. The front were measuring around .5 inch higher than the back. So, I pulled the springs again and took half a coil out of them. Now the front are .5 inch lower than the rear. Think I finally got the look I was looking for. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0352_zpsezhqax4i.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0351_zpsg0vcoeub.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0353_zpsf4dqoy8x.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0354_zps8ssdace7.jpg Next up: I don't know, Id love to do the 5.0/AOD that I got last year. I just don't have the money to make that happen yet. Maybe if I scabbed it in there, but I just cant do that. I think I am going to try and get side mirrors on it.
