  1. http://www.focusst.org/forum/vendor-deals/67305-tb-performance-products-traction-bar-group-buy.html This was one of the threads where people were reporting back.
  2. Another fun thing that day, there was a 14 5.0 there. Had a lot of Boltons. Long tubes, FRP Intake, JLT CAI, tuned, etc. It put down 390 torque Also was GTI with almost the same bolt ons as me. Pretty sure his numbers were 264/368.
  3. Another reason I don't like the exhaust, is you don't gain hardly anything from one. Any gains you see, will be from the downpipe. The is practically nothing from a cat back. This is assuming stock turbo of course. For a daily driver exhaust, I think my setup is about perfect. I was a little nervous with it moving like that. I know they did not re-tighten the straps after running it for a second, so I am sure that was some of it. I am considering picking up one of these, supposed to help a lot with the torque steer: http://tbperformanceproducts.com/Products.php#!/Traction-Bar/p/77034542/category=21924901 Its got rave reviews on FocusST.org.
  4. I hated every exhaust I listened to. Lets face it, these things just don't sound that cool. The Off road DP added quite a bit a growl just by itself. I almost just left it that way, but then went and had the res cutout. It sounds stock, until you start laying into it.
  5. The tune is what unlocks all the torque and is the biggest thing you can add to a ST. The tune adds a lot of Peak torque, but not much peak HP. It does though, add a lot under the peak curve. After that, the intercooler is needed, the stock one is like, shit. I run a 91 tune because I am being extra careful. Tuner said a 93 tune would add about 20 more WHP. I can live with that. Stock dynos are around 230/260 Wheel.
  6. They had a dyno day last weeked and I decided to see what the ST would put down. I was hoping for 250 and I beat that. Plus the torque is pretty crazy. Pretty happy with the results AP3 / Mountune 91 Oct tune CFM Off road Downpipe / Res Removed / Stock Muffler Roush Air Lid and filter Turbosmart BOV Depo 3.5 Intercooler 262 HP / 374 Torque http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/ST/ST%20Dyno_zps0almxn3a.jpg

  9. I totally need to do that to my 69.....
  10. Yeah, I didnt want to see a pic of the engine or anything.....
  11. Ok, Next.... The PS setup never had the hose bracket, so I added that. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0174_zps97wf47s9.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0175_zpsudwink0n.jpg After that, I put on my Sub-Frame connectors from last year. Was a minor PIA to put in, just hope it worth it. One of these days, Ill have them welded in, but for now, it is what it is. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0058_zpsyzlhnjso.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0063_zpshq897rhk.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0064_zpswgijrteq.jpg Then I got the Brake Lines replaced. The old ones were all shades of messed up. One had major dry rot, another had a hole almost rubbed through it, and the rear was sitting on a turndown. When I put the replacement rear braided line, I noticed they bent the bracket and lines to try and clear the turndown. While this helped the angle, it still rubbed. So I decided to put it back in stock config, re-bent the lines and bought a heat sleeve to protect it. Should be fine. Damaged lines http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0173_zpscvqfmh98.jpg New http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0171_zps61w04yhg.jpg Rear http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0250_zpsjxr3ngqt.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0251_zpsymxbbjzz.jpg When I pulled off the old "groovy" door panels and put the new ones on, I had no hardware what-so ever to put armrest back on the car. Being simple, I started to look into door pull straps. Ended up getting these lift gate straps from a Santa Fe (Part Number: 817922B000HZ ). Think it worked out pretty good! New OEM Rear Liftgate Door Pull Handle Strap For 10-12 Santa Fe 817922B000HZ | eBay http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0259_zpsmejpsrd2.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0258_zpswecufnc1.jpg Then finally, I got new tires for the Mach 1 rims. Delinte D7s in 245/45/17. Nice looking tire for the price. Would have put a bigger size in rear, just didn't have the money. Still, I like how it turned out. The front looks a little high, but they measured the same. Being the springs are brand new, I think it will settle a bit. I might speed that up by cutting a .25 - .50 coil out of it. Time will tell. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0253_zpsvfpmmy54.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0254_zps2atuv7qf.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0255_zpsbj7sm81t.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0256_zpsplm51jc6.jpg That's it for now, once i get it aligned, going to actually drive it. I know, a shocker.
  12. Video no work. What was the trans issue?
  13. Thanks! Kind of why I was seeking them out. Are pretty much undesirable on any other mustang, other than the classics.
  14. It is lowered, 1" all around, got that done last year, its on the previous page. I remeasured it, the front is about .5 inch higher than front. From what I read, its because I have not put any miles on it yet to make the new springs settle. I still might take a .25 or .5 a coil out of it to speed up the process. Just not sure how I feel about hacking up my new lowering springs.
  15. Didn't really get anything done over the winter. Got it out from storage and it fired right up, so I was happy about that. Picked up a set of 04 Mach 1 rims. The tires were smoked, so it needs a new set as well. Ended up getting a set of 1.5" inch wheel adapters for the front an 1" for the rear. I think its going to look pretty good. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0003_zps7xjgzbsk.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0004_zpsxuquv2bn.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0006_zpsobhkbtv8.jpg New on rim on right, old on left http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0005_zpsmrpuqwuj.jpg With the suspension I replaced last year, the car REALLY needs an alignment, so i wanted to get all it sorted out before I took it somewhere. One thing I wanted to replace, was the export brace. Being as mine was a chrome one (hated it) and I noticed it was not installed correctly. They had drilled holes in in because they couldn't figure out how to install it properly. Got a new one on Ebay for $20 and I got real lucky as I just need someone to pull on it a bit to get it installed. Looks better and I bet it helps NOW that it is properly installed..... See where they drilled the Chrome one? http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0045_zpspnto3wrr.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0046_zpsgdo5ulr7.jpg Done! I was really dreading doing this. Some vids show you have to do some crazy things to the shock towers to make these fit. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae290/ackbar00/Mustang/1969%20Mustang/IMG_0047_zpsyn0yyww9.jpg Next time. I noticed that all 3 brakes lines were toast. So those have been ordered and will be on their way shortly.

  17. It was a rental and had like 9000 miles on it. Id guess a 16 or 17, looked just like his.
  18. I had a rental just like this a few weeks ago. Cruise set at 80 and no trailer it got 15.5MPG. Guess they get the same pulling or not lol.
  19. Need a USAS-12 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7rFGMatKLM
  20. I was ready to pull the trigger on a MKA 1919, until I held one. Felt really cheap. AR12 looks about the same, but is a bit less money. http://www.armslist.com/posts/6150596/salem-oregon-shotguns-for-sale---new--mka-1919-match
